Exceptional

Very nice place done with eco-friendly material and nice local art. Quality of foods and the restaurant is one of the top in Kigali in a very quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay.

absolutely a cash grab. rip off. food was gross. they could not even cook a simple over easy eggs so they gave us sunny

overall nothing

everything. food, staff, room. there was a ant infestation due to the fact it was raining and when they try changing me rooms it was worst in the other rooms. highly highly disappointed. would never recommend it.

THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER, BE CAREFUL

The staff are very helpful and kind, the view is good

I was scammed, they deceived me with wrong information advertised, I was looking for a hotel with AC, so I took a long taxi at around midnight costing 35.00 USD to reach this 119.00 EURO property which was exactly like the ones I avoided around the airport for 13.00~24.00 USD per night. NO AIR CONDITION, does not exist. NO OPERATIONAL SPA / see pictures NO TV CHANNELS, NO SIGNAL NO TOILETRIES/ not even a tooth brush I HAD TO SHOWER WITH HAND WASH LIQUID! that was disgusting. Mosquitos almost carried me in the night, I have many bites on my face and body. The most that I did not like, is that the management are in denial and ready to give funny excuses, such as: no need for AC, you can use the natural air, I am sure that Booking.com can never accept such a property who scam guests, never had such a bad experience in the last 20 years.

I enjoyed my stay and would visit again!

Great location and ambience with very good food.

The place opens late and had to wait for some time to be attended to. Should have staff at the ready to receive guests. The spa was not functional but was repaired when i was checking out so never got the opportunity to enjoy it.

the location of the property was amazing! loved the view from the bar and the very helpful servers who were so kind to take photos and tell us about their bestselling food/drinks

err! lil insects here and there but they were so kind to also have insecticides in each room which was a very effective way to deal with the crawlies

Wonderful

I had such a lovely relaxing stay here. The apartment was beautiful and unique with such tasteful decor. The view over the city of Kigali beneath the mountains was beautiful. I could have sat out on my comfortable garden couch all day looking after it. The pool and restaurant were lovely. The staff were so friendly. I was able to contact them on numerous occasions before my trip with a very prompt response to all my queries. They even accommodated my early check out by dropping me such a lovely breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt, croissant, ham and cheese to store in my fridge to have before my early check out the next morning which I enjoyed this watching the sunrise over the city of Kigali. The apartment had everything you need from a coffee maker to all facilities as well as a fully stocked mini bar. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back again.

AMAZING view from the room, nice spacious room inside & on patio, good breakfast, flexible about check-out time

The bathroom did smell a bit like sewage after flushing the toilet once. But not super unusual in the area. Also in the rooms you can hear the music from the pool/bar which is quite loud until ~11pm on weekdays. So if you need quiet be warned. Besides these things, very nice beautiful place to stay!

A beautiful apparemment super comfortable and with beautiful terrace.

The problem with Pili Pili is that is both accommodation and bar/events venue. So you won't sleep until 12am/3am depending on what even is going on. It's a shame because it feels a bit greedy from the owners wanting to make money from both because technically you can't sleep until there the music is off. And that can be 3am if there is a wedding going. It's so unfair to guests next door. We certainly won't be back because of that. We wanted to rest but it wasn't possible. What a shame.

Disappointing

During day time a perfect place to stay and to arrive in Kigali.

Saturday and Sunday night the restaurant turned into a kind of club and the music was unacceptable loud for a hotel. It went on until 11 pm and beyond midnight on Sunday and affected our "sleep".

Beautiful view and INCREDIBLE breakfast spread! Also an incredible view over Kigali.

Sometimes hard to find staff working at the hotel (e.g. receptionist when I wanted to pay and check out).

Very noisy, not possible you get any rest. Loud music in the evening and the night. Rooms are next to a building plot. Appartement is worn out, very cheap interior. Sewage smell in the bathroom.

Great location with a nice view over Kigali. The rooms are really big!

The rooms are right next to the restaurant/ bar which seems to be the main business. That can be a little noisy at night but not until very late.
