Pleasant one night stay

Loved the decor and 20s music

Minor but water bottles in the room would have been nice. And coffee in room was not good.

The lady at the front desk was excellent and was genuinely friendly. Our room was exceptional. One of my best stays in a hotel ever

Beautiful hotel, but amenities are little to none.

it was the most beautiful hotel. We stayed in the one bedroom suite and didn’t know that it would be that amazing! There is 2 full bathrooms in this room and definitely came in handy when we were trying to get ready to go out.

centipedes. It is a very old building so it wasn’t a huge surprise. But just watch where you step when you get out of the shower. Oh… and room service is not room service. We were nestled up on the couch on bathrobes, fireplace going, watching a lovely movie and thought we’d call for room service. There’s a pre dial button for room service on the phone. The gentle that answered was very polite and kind, took our order, and told us he’d call when the food was ready to have us come pick it up because they don’t bring the food to the rooms. Our $45 porter house steak, was served to us in a to-go container.

Felt unsafe walking from the parking garage to the entrance of the hotel - it’d be nice to have parking all on the same level to enter the hotel.

Loved the property, loved all the decor, staff was excellent.

We had a bit of a wait for our food in the restaurant, but have experienced that at so many places. Everyone seems a bit understaffed, but the food and drinks were excellent!!

A great dinner and night’s sleep at a classic hotel

the restaurant food and staff were awesome! the bed and bedding were very comfortable.

The bed was comfortable and the internet was really really good!

The fridge in my room didn’t work but. I wasn’t goin to use it anyways. Maintenance offered to replace it but I declined for I wasn’t goin to use it.

The Hotel Retlaw is a nice recently renovated historical site in downtown - always an enjoyable stay!

Being downtown is nice and the newly remodeled rooms and entry areas are very clean and have an upscale feel.

The bed was so comfy and the pillow selection was very cool! It was very quiet also.

We got there with the 150th anniversary was going on! It was set up so vintage! We loved it the food was wonderful! I'll be back!

Very pleasant and upscale stay in downtown

Room was new and very clean. Conveniently located in downtown Fond du lac with restaurants close by. We had a very pleasant time at the hotel bar...nice glass of wine and hummus appetizer.

Enjoyed our stay.

Very good

Comfortable over sized real goose down pillows. Plenty of extra towels. Decent air flow. Very loud tho.

NO microwave in the room. Building is old but decently maintained. Needs deep clean dust allover windows and wall trim.

Superb

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was beautiful. Dinner at their restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Even with a wedding happening on Saturday the room was quite and peaceful.

This will never factor in to staying again but I personally wasn't a fan of the shower head. It didn't to me put out enough pressure.. and the pillows were to soft for my liking.

An excellent stay!

Very elegant hotel! Excellent lobby bar, staff was exceptionally friendly. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, garage parking. I’ll definitely be back to stay again.

Exceptional

Very modern hotel yet with old world charm in a downtown location. Definitely better than the usual chain hotels.

Be sure the shower 🚿 has a rubber mat, if not, request one! Our shower did not have a rubber mat, and my wife took a very bad fall. With a mat, I took a wonderful shower with the water falling on me like rain ☔.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities

The hotel was beautiful and clean and comfortable. All staff were excellent. Cute pubs near by as well. Fun place to stay and we will definitely be back!
