Good Stay, Parking Could have been better

We were in a Garden Suite which was clean and comfortable. The morning continental breakfast was fine, we aren't huge breakfast eaters but there seemed to be a decent enough selection and plenty of coffee.

I wasn't a fan of having to park across a busy road in a pretty questionable "lot" where it was only our car and what seemed to be two abandoned houses.

WOW!!!!!

The property was gorgeous and within a 2 minute walk to the beach. This property location is unbeatable. A short walk is all it takes to get anywhere around, from shopping to great food, to the beach and the ocean. The privacy that this property provides is great also. Staying here tricks you into thinking you live on the beach before you snap back into reality. The suite was wonderful and felt like home.

Love the area, so much to do and it is more peaceful than most other beaches.

Mere feet away from the north end of the beach. Convenient location in regards to shopping, and eating establishments. Room was very comfortable and parking was only steps away.

Parking area was a little tight but workable.

Misleading description and disappointing facilities

The main bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly.

Large clumps of dust visible behind bed frame and a thick layer of dust visible on lamp shades. Sand on surfaces upon our arrival. Space in the unit was very limited. Even basic supplies offered in kitchenette area extremely limited. There were no drawers to unpack in and closet was small. The description of the garden patio as being "private" was very misleading as it was shared with other units and also served as a walk thru. Misleading to call it "beach front" as beach was not visible from unit and the walk to the beach was not straight forward. Very cheap supplies (paper products, toiletries, etc.) considering the price of room and how it was marketed.

Interesting place. Clean and comfortable but a bit inconvenient. Not a typical hotel experience.

The place we were in waa the "gardens" part of the hotel. It was a nice little suite in ground level. The place was clean and well decorated. The bed was comfortable. It has more of a mom & pop feel to the place closer to a B&B than a regular hotel we thought. They do have a B&B as part of the same place but we weren't in it.

My major complaint was that in the booking process it wasn't clear what we were getting. I expected a hotel suite and it was actually more like a little apartment. It had an outdoor entrance in a separate building on ground level and it was a short walk outside from the main lobby which was inconvenient in the rain. Parking was limited in tight spaces. A large SUV would be very difficult, but our mid size SUV worked out ok.

Our stay was decent, the room was clean and walking distance from the beach.

Its close to the beach. The two restaurants we went to were walking distance and the food at the restaurant was decent.

It could use a touch up. When you walk in the room it had a musty type odor but you can tell it came from how old the property is.

We enjoyed everything about our stay!

Booking and check-in and out were a breeze. The room was very spacious, clean, and well located. It was a short walk to the beach and some great local restaurants. We slept well and really enjoyed our stay!

For the money, this room was not worth it.

The beach, the bed, the furnace, the shower, the towels and the closeness to restaurants and activities.

The only window to see out of or open was the door. The room smelled when we checked in like it hadn’t been open in quite awhile. It was only clean on the surface. There was accumulated dust and dirt under everything. The dryer vent was unhooked and had been for sometime since there was a layer of lint behind the dryer about a quarter inch thick. It was fixed properly the second time we called. The counter furniture and coffee table were heavy metal too big for the space. The counter stools rocked back and forth when you sat in them because the little levelers on some legs were missing. There were no sharp knives and only two spoons. All in all the attention to detail just wasn’t there.

Nice place, good value.

This was a good value. The kitchen was lovely, like it had been recently remodeled. The bathroom was spacious. The bedroom and living area were fine. The patio area was very cute, but everything outside needed a good powerwashing.

The bedroom was a little tight, but it was worth it to have a king bed. Also the extra space in the living room made up for it.

Booking.com needs help with description of places they book

Everything was great. We loved the place. If only we weren't lied to by booking.com

Booking has the description of the place wrong. Booking said we had 2 bathrooms and a king bedroom and a queen bed and a queen sofa. Wrong. Only 1 bathroom and a queen sofa. All this would have been acceptable if we had known it up front. Do not believe the description of rooms and distance to shops and town. That also was fudged by booking.com. Booking.com needs to get room facts and town facts straight before posting on website.

Charm and courteous staff made up for the shortfalls.

Breakfast had good variety for a Continental. Staff was friendly and responsive to all our problems or requests. Location was excellent and the rooms have lots of charm.

Cleanliness was adequate but glasses in Kitchen were dirty as was the freezer. Biggest issue was the shower which leaked and we had to call for instructions on how to turn it on. Outdoor seating also was very old and in need of a paint job.

Awful from the moment we walked in to check in and were met with a surly desk clerk. old,dirty hotel

nothing!!

customer service, friendliness, parking on site is really across the highway.(!!!!) cleanliness, "beachfront" room as described.

Good

Right on the beach, but not the busy section. So peaceful!

The breakfast was not appetizing. For the price we paid, we expected a little more for breakfast.
