Rooftop view and restaurant
The hotel is not professional at all. We booked 2 rooms and the check in time was 10am still we had to wait till 11am for our rooms. Even after that, we didn't get one of the rooms we booked, they said we will have to wait an hour more. When I asked them to adjust the rate according to the new room, they didn't agree to it. The worst part was that they didn't inform me that the room we booked wasn't available, only when I asked about it, they mentioned.

This a heritage hotel and we loved the change to the run of mill hotel experience you tend to find these days. The location is excellent affording stunning views of the Fort and the surrounding city and monuments. The food was also excellent.
We struggled to obtain hot water consistently. This was not a major issue as we stayed a couple of nights.

This "haveli was interesting to say the least. When you enter, it looks garish but then you get used to it. The staircases are steep and don't always have a railing. Also the steps are not even. I would not recommend if you have children or have bad knee. The furniture, doors of the room are made from solid wood and look very rich and authentic. The clock tower and step well are close by. Taller folks have to be aware to bow so they don't bang their head to the door frame. My husband did just that!

One more thing: as I was leaving early the next morning, I requested a boxed breakfast which they refused. I guess I was spoiled as the previous haveli in Udaipur were accommodating with the same request. I don't think I can recommend this one to friends/family - too many hazards.

People were amazing, good authentic experience, had so much fun!
Had troubles with tv and starting hot water but were sorted quickly by the staff.
It does get very loud and at night with dogs and cars outside but I think that’s just India

Le personnel est très serviable et l'un d'eux parle parfaitement français.
Le restaurant est bon , avec des prix par contre plus élevé que la moyenne , mais qui correspondent à l'établissement.

Location is good. Nice roof terrace, good terrace / lobby on ground floor and atmosphere. Food is also good.
We booked 2 single beds with airco, but this is not possible in this hotel (but they offered). In the end we had an extra mattress on the ground in the room.

The staff is very nice and welcoming. The architecture is so special and unique.
There was alot of noise from the street in the room. At night, you can hear all the construction work from the rooftop and from the street.
The wifi is very low in the room and most of the time doesn't work at all.
The electricity sometimes falls and in 40-45 degrees Celsius it is unbearable. I don't know if it's only this hotel or a broader problem.
The hotel is not cheap yet with all of the problems above we were not offered even a cold drink during the time the electricity was not working.
I would not stay here again

Wonderful stay in a nice room. Hot water works, internet works, has a cafe at the entrance, service is excellent, location is near the fort. Staff can help organize bus tickets and day trips. Rajendra and Vikram were excellent hosts! I recommend if visiting Jodhpur.

The location of the hotel is central. Considering the place, one gets the impression of having the best available. However, the structure is obviously very dated and more could be done to keep the location and quality of service on the same level.

Amazing choice for Heritage stay, you get the complete Haveli vibe with the decor, doors, almirahs etc.
Had to wait at reception for over 1 hour after check-in time.

Location was great, reason why we booked (also based on rave reviews on Tripadvisor but it was a mishmash of a place with the owners trying to make the place look like a rustic heritage property. They could have done a much better job of it. The design elements were poor with many things thrown together making the whole place look like a total mess! The rooms were poorly designed, everything totally out of place...just didnt appeal to us! The manager Vikram was however very polite and spoke well, was ready to help at all times, staff were also nice. We had dinner one evening and the food was very good. So, a couple of Pros there. Proximity to the stepwell, the main (busy as hell!) market etc was an added bonus. So, go for the place if you want to stay right in the middle of it all otherwise stay a bit far (few kms only) in town and take a tuktuk to go where you want to go.
The poor decor, badly put together rooms, steep staircase to go up to the rooms (3 flights!). Only vegetarian fare available (not such a big deal but..).

Ther location was good for our purpose=we were at Jodhpur for the music festival at the Meharangarh Fort and it worked out well since we were able to return between events. However, being located in the pld city, the roads are spectacularly narrow,full of potholes and smelly! The room has a rugged earthy ambience, taking you by surprise at start. The breakfast was one dimensional- Parathas (fairly good) or bust!!! The staff is very friendly indeed.
The whole facility could do with a lot of fixing (e.g., the balustrade or railing on the main starcase) a thorough deep cleaning and removal of unnecessary brac-a-brac.

The place is too noisy, either due to the live music from the restaurant, all the cars honking all the time (which is something normal in India), and a club relatively close by. I don’t have a light sleep but it was tough.

Vikram, the manager/host, was very welcoming and helpful through my extended stay. The men serving drinks, food and providing other backup were very kind as well. The architecture and overall design were like a trip back hundreds of years. Very cool. The location gives you walking access to hundreds of shops and many eateries.
The entire property needs a deep, professional cleaning and more frequent routine cleaning. While the bathroom, bedding and floors in the room were clean enough, the light fixtures walls, shelves, artwork etc were coated in dust. Granted, old city Jodhpur is extremely dusty, so don't expect spotless. But along with dust are broken furniture, rags and cloths left anywhere for what looke like months, piles of empty bottles on the roof terrace, art work hanging at odd angles, random stuff everywhere which was neither decorative nor purposeful. This havelli has all the right stuff to be very special and it could be a 10 with more attention to cleaning.

They have two restaurants, one on the ground floor with great ambiance and art decor spread all over, another one rooftop with amazing, clear and wide view of the fort and good view of clock tower.
location(old city) in not that great as it is difficult for 4 wheeler vehicles to reach this place, on the other hand it’s very close to step well, clock tower and market place

A haven from the hustle and bustle of Old Town Jodhpur. Close proximity to the clock tower makes it easy to find and right next to the Toorji ka Jhalra. The view from the rooftop and some of the rooms is an absolutely stunning view of the Fort. The rooms are clean and comfortable with lots of hot water and the food is absolutely delicious. We chose to eat here most days as the food was some of the best we found and the staff made the experience so enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our breakfast porridge, coffee and masala chai. It was chilly in the morning and breakfast warmed us up. Subash our waiter attended to us with charm and efficiency.
Our room was clean and we had a kettle for coffee, fresh towels, plenty of hot water. The restaurant has great Rajasthani food!
The hotel is located in old town, very close to the stepwell and minutes away from the clock tower.

Rooms are pretty big and architecture is awesome. Staff's are excellent and I saw Vikram the host speaking in French. Location is pretty good as middle of the old town.
May be good in Summer definitely not in Winter. I got cold as the room is not airtight, next day somehow managed with a small room heater (airblow).
Stairs might be the worst nightmare. NO LIFT.
Shower was not comfortable as water flow is too less.

Our host who welcomed us was really lovely and helpful, we really liked him! Perfect location for all the touristic things in Jodhpur and they have a nice rooftop.
Unfortunately we were unhappy with a lot of things. It’s a charming old building with 400 years of age, that’s fine yes, but not for that price. It’s way to expensive for what you get. The bed was uncomfortable and the extra bed we requested was only a thin mattress on the floor. The room itself was big but there were holes in the walls and the windows so it’s very loud in there. We always felt like our neighbors were in our room. The first night there were other costumers who celebrated who knows what till 5 am in the morning. And even though some were complaining this didn’t stop and we couldn’t get a second of sleep.
On the second day the hot water didn’t work so we had to take a cold shower.
It was our most expensive stay during our India trip and it definitely wasn’t ok for that money. We stayed in way more beautiful places for half that price.

No credit card facilities and not communicated on Booking.Com , Cash only , Loose bathroom fittings, low water pressure, dusty everywhere, stains on sanitary ware, dirty windows, Damp bedroom sheets, Lack of communication at check in regarding room servicing, mice in the bar area near food, room assigned not what we booked , lack of blankets, holes in brickwork behind the bed ,cheap bathroom amenities Breakfast extra cost.
