Absolutes Juwel ca. 10 min vom Flughafen. Es wird auch ein kostenloser Transfer vom oder zum Flughafen angeboten. Die Anlage ist einfach nur ein Traum - umgeben von Palmen gibt es sogar einen tollen Pool. Die Zimmer haben die neusten Klimaanlagen plus Ventilator. Essen kann man auch lecker im Guesthouse bestellen. Ich komme am Ende meiner Reise gerne nochmal her und kann diese Unterkunft von Herzen nur empfehlen.

Breakfast was good and hearty. Cooked freshly, so took a little time. We ordered vegetarian Dosa for dinner and they were good although again a little wait as freshly cooked from scratch. This is a quiet place with huge grounds. Feels both colonial and yet zen like. Interesting statues and decor gave it a charming feel. Staff were very helpful. We had a late flight (3 am) and they took us to the airport. Nice pool...but no pool towels so you have to use your room's bath towels.
A few niggles. Electricity / wiring looked a bit dodgy. Kettle was temperamental and TV didn't work. One morning the hot water didn't work but the staff sorted this out quickly. Overall, these issues didn't spoil the stay and we had no real problems.

Owner was amazing and picked us up after a long flight from Aust and arriving after 1030pm at night which was great and he was where he had explained to walk too. Room was great and breakfast next morning was really nice , transport was arranged for us to get to next location and that went to plan as well
All was good was worried with the bathroom being attached and sort of like a fancy outdoor one with the mozzies, but after closing door all was fine.

Green Olive Villa exceeded my expectations. the staff was super friendly and helpful, they were nice enough to arrange a pickup for me at the airport at around 2 in the morning. I have to recommend the Breakfast at the villa as it was one of the best I had in the country. the prices were very reasonable and the rooms were quiet ant comfortable. I would definitely love to stay here again.

The grounds was beautiful with a lovely pool! the service was amazing, I was here as a solo traveller during off peak season and at times was the only guest, but I didn’t feel alone because I was checked up on and had company from Lala. Lala even drove me to the supermarket and to see his hospital. The early morning airport drop off ran smoothly too

Staff attitude and the effort is taken to service the tourist with best possible. However, given the country's current situation, there is a reflection that not all can be supported to the expected standard.
The lack of an adequate number of tourists and minimal staffing at night makes one concerned about safety and security.

Free pick-up from the airport which went smoothly and on time, 10 minutes drive between the airport and the Villa. The owner was very friendly and accommodative to all my special needs due to a disability.
The two staff who I had met were too extremely helpful and eager to help with a very positive attitude.
The room itself was huge and has a ice cool air-condition unit.
I was concerned about the mosquitos as for another historical review by someone else, but was told to keep the doors shut at all times so I did not had any issues with mosquitos.
They has a beautiful big garden and a swimming pool.
Lovely food at a reasonable cost. There was a mini fridge too in the room as well as a kettle and tea making facilities. I would definitely come back again to this BnB as I was extremely happy with everything.
The WiFi was down due to the heavy rain which was very unlucky situation i guess

Absolutely perfect place for us. We stayed here at the beginning of our trip as it was super close to the airport (free transfer included) and we stayed here at the end of our trip as we liked it so much.
Gorgeous villa with beautiful grounds and a very clean pool. Rooms lovely and clean. Staff very friendly especially Rajaa who cooked us the most delicious sri lankan breakfast and dinner.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Green Olive Villa. It was very relaxing and the pool was just what we needed to freshen up before we enjoyed the amazing dinner arranged for us by the chef. The staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful we have encountered throughout Srilanka. The room we got was spacious and spotless. Our flight was scheduled very early in the morning and the free airport transfer really saved us a lot of trouble.

Great place to stay after flying in late at night. Airport pickup was a bonus especially at 2am! Nice to wake up to a quiet grounds and pool. Our host helped organise our transport to Dambulla and shared stories about his family living in Australia

We had a wonderful time at Green Olive Villa, the staff were super helpful and attentive to us. they offered us a free airport pickup at 2 in the morning free of charge and that was a big bonus for us. the room was comfortable and spacious and was great value for money compared to the other places we have stayed in. We are looking forward to staying at the villa again.

Nobody showed up for the airport pickup and we had to arrange and pay for a taxi (it was 3 am), we agreed on a breakfast time, our alarm didn’t go off and for 2 hours nobody woke us up, it might be a cultural difference but in that moment quite annoying

Peace and quiet, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed
All in all we thought the prices were a little high. It doesn’t matter that things are outdated, but some things were just broken, rusty or dirty. We understand the economical crisis, but we encourage you to keep your standards high as well for cleaning (dust, webs, surroundings at the pool, etc)

I really liked the hotel, everything was thought out, and the territory was large and comfortable. the colonial style makes a pleasant impression. The staff is at the highest level, everyone is very friendly and trying to help. Great couple of days to start our trip. In the past, we have travelled several hours to get to our first destination. So this was hugely convenient, not far from the airport. The food was great and very affordable. I would hight recommend Green Olive Villa to all of you.

I heard a lot about Sri Lankan hospitality, but this stay absolutely exceeded all my expectations!
Once we arrived in the hotel via their airport pickup, we were greeted by the staff — all with genuine smiles. The quality of the service is amazing and went above and beyond with all our requests. Hands down the best service I have had in Sri Lanka. Compliments upon arrival, suggestions with places to see. The staff was always in touch with me making sure I have everything I need. The breakfast and the pool were also very nice. It's sad to leave and I hope to come again.

There was a very nice outdoor pool. Staff and owner were attentive to our needs & requests - they went above and beyond to meet expectations and individualize our stay. It felt like staying at a friend's house more than a hotel. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and pickup/dropoff was arranged for us. Although we visited Sri Lanka during a time of political unrest, the owner and staff at this hotel took every step possible to ensure that we had a pleasant, enjoyable stay. We hope to visit Sri Lanka again and stay for longer to enjoy the hospitality of the locals more.

We chose to stay overnight before a morning flight. Upon checking in, they were surprised by the free airport transfer that was on offer. After resolving this matter, we wanted to pay as soon as possible and be able to repack our luggage for further travel. In the process of paying and drafting the bill, the procedure was interrupted (I don't know why) to show us the rooms (without giving the keys) As it was late and we were tired, we left our backpacks and returned to finish the payment in cash and say goodbye to our driver after 12 days of joint travel (6 hotels) . At that time, the hotel boy took our luggage to the room without our presence (I have never encountered such a practice anywhere in the world) after about 10 minutes we returned to the rooms and .... it turned out that we were robbed (Sony earphones cost about 280 $). They tried to convince us that this did not happen. The staff was intoxicated and even drank in front of us. We were so tired and had no sense of security so we asked for a refund and at 11:30 pm we checked into another one to repack and take a 3h nap. Lack of interest in the manager's side, he himself admitted that the hotel boy had only been working for 3 months. I do not recommend.
