Wish we stayed longer. The location was perfect. Restaurants bars, temples just out side the hotel

Absolutely beautifully decorated. The pool area although small, very quiet and luxurious. The lighting at night time around the gardens was so beautiful. The vintage bath tub with a chandelier for lighting created a sense of grandeur.

Dreamy vibes and boutique feels

Lovely heritage hotel, with boutique vibes. The rooms are very well decorated and the premises are well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The swimming pool was very nice and warm, and lounge chairs were available.

The breakfast was underwhelming. The taste and quality of the food were not on par with the hotel's standing. The soundproofing could be better as we could hear guests from other rooms moving their furniture and slamming doors at night. It's a bit of a shame for that kind of price range.

Beste hotel van onze vakantie

Dit was veruit het beste hotel van onze hele reis en als het kon waren we het liefst nog veel langer gebleven. De locatie is perfect, midden in de oude stad en aan de Sunday Walking Street. Toch heb je hier op je kamer en bij het zwembad totaal geen overlast van. Alles ziet er prachtig uit en het personeel is super lief en helpt je overal bij. Bijna iedere middag was er iemand die je een Thais dessert leerde maken, dat vonden we super leuk! De kamer was heel comfortabel en heel schoon, we hebben (in tegenstelling tot veel andere hotels in Thailand) helemaal geen insecten op de kamer gehad. Echt aan alles is gedacht bij dit hotel en ik kan het niet genoeg aanraden.

Good location and value for money

It’s located in the city centre, right at the Sunday night market street. Yet it provides a quiet and comfortable environment inside the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful!

The room is a bit old and the jacuzzi has a bit of dirty spot. Also the bath water temperature is unstable.

Elegant comfortable and classy hotel in the spiritual hub of Chiang Mai

I loved the location of this hotel - It was central to all of the main tourist sites and it was located in a very quiet area of town

Great hotel & helpful staff

Location was great. Breakfast was delicious, and front desk was helpful organizing an excursion and taxis. I wasn’t feeling well one night so they even sent toast & jelly up to the room free of charge, which I really appreciated! We didn’t try the pool, but it was really cute, and we liked that the hotel provided us with pool towels for our elephant excursion

The only downside is that when we gave the hotel our laundry, my white shirt came back with blue spots on it

Beautiful, peaceful and luxurious, would definitely stay here again.

Central location within the old town walls, easy walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel styling was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly.

The shower was inconsistent, turning between hot and cold for the duration of the shower.

Best Hotel ever!

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff are friendly and efficient. They anticipate your every need and cater for it. They helped arrange our excursion and massages. The buffet breakfast is first class -as was the food in the restaurant. Our room on the ground floor next to the pool was wonderful. Clean, comfortable and with a luxurious bathroom. The salt water pool is gorgeous . There is a temple next door and we could hear the monks chanting from over the wall. Everything about our stay was perfect. We were so sad to leave!

Un vrai coup de coeur . Sublime Hotel . Extraordinaire

Tout . Tout est parfait … très belle décoration … personnel adorable et très a l écoute… l hotel est très calme .. la piscine est chauffée et est sublime. Les chambres sont magnifiques ….tout est très beau . Nous avions deux des plus belles chambres de l hotel face au temple et au dessus de la piscine et du jardin … le restaurant est tres bon ….notre coup de coeur des vacances

Ótimo hotel no centro histórico

Hotel muito bonito no centro histórico de Chiang Mai. Funcionários, piscina e café da manhã excelentes. Eles deram um jeito de estacionar o carro mesmo sem ter garagem. O templo ao lado do hotel é um plus.

We stayed 3 nights, the location is ideal

In a very nice building a charming hotel with an ortiental Chinese moderne style. It is a rather average hotel ( not a big hundreds of rooms ) giving the feeling you are in house. Staff is very dedicated, that arrange a private tour in the national park for us.

Delightful hotel close to the action.

We stayed at this hotel for Loy Krathong, and were very close to all the activity. You just had to walk out the door to get to the city gate and square where all the activities were taking place. After the crush, we could retreat back inside with a delightful poolside restaurant and bar. So civilized! Everyone on the staff was helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was good, but not great.

Wonderful hotel for a wonderful city full of wonderful attractions and activities

Wonderful room, beautiful general hotel look, Great staff, perfect position for visit the old city and also enough near the east gate so it was also easy get a taxi outside the old city. Breakfast ok. Loved it, hope to return there in the future.

Ein rundum perfektes Hotel

Die Lage des Hotels ist toll für Ausflüge in die Altstadt, das Frühstück ist herausragend, das Hotel selbst ist wirklich super schön und der Pool perfekt um sich zu erfrischen. Aber besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

前台接待遇到的所有服务员早餐地理位置都很不错早餐种类算丰富有些还很好吃有时候下午会有活动不参加的话也可以把吃的叫到房间一切都很棒

员工打扫时把床上的衣服放在了行李箱上需要改进

Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Aksara. Staff were amazing and extremely helpful.

The hotel was so lovely. Although it was in front of a busy street but it felt tranquil when you step into the hotel.

Nothing major. Just that I requested for a quiet room but was given a room closed to a F&B store area (I think). I could hear the staff taking items out when doing their room cleaning routines. Also, I wish I was given a room away from the front road. With that said, the room was still nice and can hardly hear much noise except for the occasional motorbikes passing by.

Lovely hotel

Perfect location in the heart of Chiang Mai. The pool was amazing and so was the day bed. Staff were exemplary.

Breakfast would have been better if it was all freshly made to order.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of chiang Mai

We had one lovely night at Aksara - it was so beautiful - even more so than the pictures. It looks onto a gorgeous temple. Brilliant staff and location. Good breakfast
