Superb

Location was good, and the room was overall clean.

The lobby is shared with the Beatrix restaurant which was often crowded, so the lobby was very loud. There was only one functioning elevator, only at the end of our stay they repaired the other one.

3 blocks from magnificent mile…10 mins from attractions and train station ..location was great

Over priced, 3 elevators & 2 were broke whole stay….requested room to be clean it wasn’t… had to demand housekeeping come after hours….

Great room and staff but constant preauthorised payment mechanism is really annoying and puts me off using Aloft again.

The room was great. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and with a great view. The staff were really helpful, especially one young man. The Beatrix restaurant attached was really good.

2 big gripes. 1) Only one elevator working, sure more were available in the Hyatt but that wasn’t convenient with luggage. 2) my card was preauthorised for $334.60 on arrival and then periodically an additional $75. I have a US account I use for trips which doesn’t hold a lot of money. So the transactions were often declined. The final invoice was for $309.95. However, I still have a preauthorised amount of $409.60 on my card. This means $100 I can’t access or earn interest on. This is really annoying and seems totally unnecessary. As the original preauthorised amount was slightly more than the final amount why keep requesting $75 and when will the amount be corrected?

Beautiful hotel… communication at checkin could be better.

Breakfast restaurant was great! Facilities were good. Location was great for downtown.

Nice modern hotel perfectly located

perfect location for river north Chicago. Lot's of nice new, high quality finishes.

Superb

My Daughter lives in the city and Aloft is centrally located to her, her work, and the city in general. The staff is always professional but outgoing. Every time I visit I am welcomed back and treated like family. I will not stay anywhere else!

Wasn't blown away. No reason to return.

Only one of three elevators were in service and wait times were ridiculous. Stairs were available for exit only.

It was quick but fine

our room had a lovely view but it was very small - no where to hang a coat and when you turned on the bathroom light it went directly into the main room.

Elevators were very slow and one was not working the whole time we were there - plus very dark. The lobby was very loud and not well organized.
