It was filthy. The check-in was long and rude. It was half burnt down. There was a group of people standing outside smoking and drinking. It was scary. I couldn't stay there. I had to get a different roppom at another hotel. It was terrible.

It was a place to sleep and shower

Everything in the operational part of the hotel was “make shift” ( due a fire in the other part last year) Full kitchen amenities, but nothing to cook or eat with, very old and rickety “slap together” place.

Close to airport, free airport shuttle was easy to use, room was large, was cheapest on booking.com in the airport area, still very expensive to me.

Half of the property is burned down because of fire damage last year, there’s a kitchen within the room but not one utensil to actually use any of it…… very expensive for what quality you get, I think this is an expensive area but still for the price I payed I would expect better quality.

This hotel was horribly misrepresented on Priceline. Not a single aspect felt safe or met any standard safety and cleanliness expectations.

This hotel should be removed from all booking sites for the immediate future. Firstly, half of the hotel has suffered extensive fire damage, and is boarded up. As this building of the hotel presumably housed the check in desk, the “front desk” has been seemingly moved to the second building and now occupies a first-floor hotel room. Our door frame was splintered and had A barely functional door jamb, and the kitchenette fridge has numerous dents and potential knife stabs (and didn’t actually appear to be operable). One of the two beds lacked sheets, and the bathroom felt as if it needed a healthy dose of bleach and had an insect infestation. The room DID have a balcony, as advertised, but it was littered with broken plastic furniture. Guests (?) appeared to be loudly using the hallway window outside of our hotel room for smoking at 2am and the whole experience was bizarre . This was possibly the least safe and clean hotel our party has encountered. I suspect many of the reviews for this property are inaccurate or heavily filtered, so if this somehow makes it as a review on the website, please avoid booking the America’s Best Value Inn on Spenard in Anchorage.

Sketchie person with pitbull staying at Inn made stay seem threatened. This resident would let the dog off leash near the entrance and dog went beserk when another resident took her dog for a walk. I am sure other resident was frightened and threatened. The cable box was not in room when we arrived and it took some time to fix the situation. Think box was stolen by previous guest.

Absolutely nothing. I can’t believe this is actually a real hotel and not a movie set from Breaking Bad.

The picture of the hotel entrance on the booking site? That is now a burnt-out shell of a building. The place you will stay is behind that: 3 moldering floors, no elevator, weird smelling stained carpet throughout, warped doors. Good luck!

Check in late night/early morning

Cigarette butts on the balcony, was not really clean feeling, asked for ground floor and got 3rd floor, part of hotel had been burnt and boarded up

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were a large group and were able to check in early into a few rooms which helped immensely with the luggage. Breakfast provided is helpful and sufficient. Free shuttle to/from airport is very helpful. Public bus stops are close by.

Room smelled of smoke, wasn't clean, only one towel provided
