Perfect location and good secure parking

Great property and close to our car rental place and the airport. They have their own parking inside the property and they need to open the gate for you so you can access it. This wasn't explained but once a local parking attendant got hold of the owners, and we circled the block (it was manic due to a nearby football match!), we were able to park up. Very secure parking. Definitely worth calling the property when you are 5 minutes away. Room was comfortable with a big bathroom and storage area. Shops and restaurants very close by.

The room was up a flight of stairs and we had big heavy bags. Would just have been good to know when we were booking whether the rooms were ground floor or not but ultimately our error for not checking.

good facilities but big red flag with personal belongings disappearing

clean location, the room was comfortable, very good coffee in the room and good breakfast. parking available inside the property and there are good options for eating out nearby. the host was kind.

quite a big thing but not related to the property facilities. we stayed twice at this property. we overnight after arriving at the airport in the evening and next day morning we drove to La Fortuna. I forgot my pyjama in the room and notified the host in the same day that I had forgotten it. They said they could not find it, which means that someone took it. The host said that the cleaning lady was the only one who entered our room after we left. very disappointing- imagine you forget something more valuable, like a watch, wallet etc and they take it…for this reason I can’t recommend the stay

Very comfortable and large apartment although Alajuela was not very interesting.

Very large and comfortable apartment type room with full kitchen. Good breakfast included. Secure although difficult parking.

Just across the street from the beautiful church. 12-15 minutes from the airport. Friendly staff. Secure parking in internal area behind the gates.

Rooms are quite crampy, but given the location and price it is of no surprise. Some rooms have direct access to the 2nd floor terrace, ask about it.

Worse than expected

Kind owner, good breakfast, private parking

We got a tiny, dark room without any view as there were only very small windows, close to the ceiling. Also the smell in the room was like in a cellar with some air freshener. Area of the Aparthotel didn't seem too safe.

We loved our very cozy and beautiful room. Very comfortable beds, very clean. Location is perfect for the airport and to enjoy Alejuela town if having time to spare before the flight. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was vegan as we requested, and exceeded our expectations!

Friendly owner. Comfortable beds. Warm shower. Nice location not very far from the airport.

We didn’t have a very good night of sleep since a family member from the owner was screaming extremely loud and for quite a while in the middle of the night. The breakfast was nothing special.

The staff were great, very helpful. The bed was very comfortable (soft and supportive). Good location to walk to shops and food. And easy to the airport.

Decent short stay close to airport

The room was very good equiped, safe, good location close to airport. Friendly hosts with valuable dining tips, and good breakfast.

The bedroom was rather small - or the bed too big for this room. The floor could be a bit more clean (hairs).

Excellent location and host. Would stay here again!

Vicky was a lovely host. She came to the door to greet us and let our car into the secure and private garage. The hotel is very clean and you can tell this property has sentimental value to the family. She also arranged for a cab to take me to the airport at 4:15 am and the driver showed up right on time. It is in a great location close to the airport and I would definitely stay here again before flying out of SJO!

The hot water in our room ran out pretty quickly while showering.

Lovely small hotel near the airport but also near shops and restaurants.

We had a couple of difficult experiences. First, we had booked and confirmed two rooms but they only had one room available and had double-booked the other room. Second problem. I received my Covid test results the morning of our stay. The test was positive for Covid. I informed the hotel manager. They just wanted us out immediately. We said we couldn't leave until we confirned a quarantine residence. They wanted us out so they could prepare the room for the next visitors. We were horrified by their Covid cleaning protocols which seemed to be non-existent. I understand this is a small hotel, but we were nevertheless disappointed that they were so willing to put the next guests at risk.
