Great views from den 1!

Great stay. Really liked the decorations around the place, was all Alaska themed and the owners put A lot of effort into making the house comfortable. I liked that there was Netflix.

Electric boiler on 2nd storey would have been good. Also would be good if the way to enter the b&b was sent earlier as I didn’t have WiFi on the day itself when the email was sent on how to enter the house.

Superb

Very nicely decorated, with 2 queens beds and one sofa bed. The queen beds are comfortable though they move a lot - if the other person in the bed moves, you'll move as well. It woke me up it couple of times but I am a very light sleeper and overall slept really well. We didn't realize the sofa bed could be opened (and didn't ask either) but it was long enough and comfortable for one person to sleep on it. Sheets are provided as well. The heater worked very well. There are blackout shades for the early morning sun. We did not hear our neighbors downstairs, overall the place was very quiet. The bathroom was nice but it was difficult for towels to dry - recommend taking them out of the bathroom. There is shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion available. Good water pressure that you can regulate, hot water comes out quickly. The place is also very conveniently located, you can walk in 10min or less to the harbor where most restaurants are, and boat tours depart. Staff incredibly nice, very responsive, and also had some delicious cookies waiting for us on arrival!!

Self check-in was easy, and fresh-baked cookies were waiting! Host was very available in case we had questions. Beautiful view and easy access to town.

Cozy Lodging in Seward

The property was so comfortable and cozy. Nice to come home to at the end of a long day of hiking or kayaking. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, great shower with good water pressure, cute, inviting decor, it was the nicest stay we booked on our Alaska trip.

the best place in seward

we loved everything!! the location is very convenient close to a food market store and 7 min walk to the center. we had 2 rooms den 1 and den 2, they had a connecting door it was very nice. the rooms are fully equipped and beautiful furnished, very comfortable.

Spacious, comfortable accommodation in great location; best stay ever.

In all of our travels around the globe, Bears Den Alaska Lodging was the most spacious and most comfortable accommodation we have stayed in. Our unit consisted of 2 bedrooms, plus a room with a futon sofa. There was a full bath with tub/shower combo, a full kitchen with necessary cooking pans and utensils, a full-size refrigerator/freezer, a large dining area and a sitting area. The location is perfect in a quiet neighborhood on the north side of Seward, just a few minutes walk from the grocery store, and a quick drive to anywhere in Seward. The hosts were gracious, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I am so glad we found this accommodation. Highly recommend

The recliners are very comfy and I appreciated the free coffee. The unit we stayed in was very roomy abs clean abs we felt right at home.

There was no bathtub - only a shower. I am a bath person. Not a major drawback, just letting other bath people know.

Perfect Spot in Seward

Fresh cookies delivered to your unit upon arrival. Perfect, quiet spot for a base for visiting Seward. Walking distance to pier for Kenai Fjords tours. Comfortable and clean. Appreciated the black out curtains.

Practical, comfortable need to fix electricity.

Location , comfy beds, nice coffee

Electricity in bathroom didn't t work even as we followed instructions not to use hair dryer. Couchbef not super comfortable.

Can't say enough good things about the owners who went above and beyond to make sure I loved my stay

Loved the hospitality of the owners and the ease of communication. They went out of their way to help make my time in Seward memorable. This place exceeded all my expectations and I hope to stay here again in the future.
