The only good thing about the hotel is the location. It’s on the water, next to the waterfront park, within walking distance to town.

The place is long overdue for a renovation. There were holes in our curtain and the shower head leaked like crazy. Even worse, the smoke detector started chirping in the middle of the night. The front desk had no spare batteries and didn’t offer us a different room, so we just removed the battery and went back to sleep. Turns out the battery was more than two years old.

Location/ staff/ little continental breakfast wasn’t extensive but enough. Gym and lake views that were spectacular!

No laundry facility but there was a laundromat nearby- non issue.

Wonderful location with great views.

Shabby all around. It’s in desperate need of updating furnitures, carpet, bathroom area. Outside hallways feel dirty.

On the lake, close to downtown. All about location with this place.

Rooms was very dated, one of the towels actually stunk like body odour, pillows were not good. TV was very small and programming wasn’t great. No one seems to be doing anything to renovate these terribly noisy rooms. Even the plasticized TV guide in the room was sticky. Cleaning was very good. Shower curtain was also somewhat gross.

Hot tub could have been warmer, but in all fairness it did seem like they just cleaned it because some kids got it super dirty

Sat on the balcony in the evening and had breakfast out there the following morning- lovely view and ambience.Very happy. Our waiter Matt was a fountain of information about Sandpoint and very out going- Kudo’s to Matt. Please pass this on to him and will request his section next time we are there.
