Hot and sweaty in early August without air conditioner.

Adjacent car wash.

Power was off first night. Hot sunny room with no working air conditioner, sweated all night. The power outage was scheduled in that part of town, but no one told us before hand.

I would stay here again.

Staff were great and friendly. Location is about a 30 minute walk ( 3 minute drive) to town but if you go home at the right time ( about 1 am for us) you walk home with the Northern lights, how good is that! Walking tour from Visitor Center and tour of dredger about 10 minutes drive from motel ( ask at motel for directions) we’re both great and must do tours.

Comfortable and a decent value.

It was handy to have a small kitchenette. Location out of town is relatively quiet.

The laundry was convenient but a bit expensive. The stove was fine for us but more like a two burner hotplate (no oven).

Def pay more and stay in a more modern place that is clean and hopefully comfortable.

obvious dirt not cleaned in bathroom. Mattress was awful and full of springs. Pillows were so compacted that 2 barely made the grade. Bedding was super outdated - old coverlets from the 70's?? hideous. The heat didn't work in my room. It was really pretty gross - and super noisy through the walls.

it was fine for sleeping, cold and muggy though. but try to book closer to the town if you can

big room, staff was nice

seemed to stay consistently cold, even with the heat on. The two towels they provided for us never seemed to dry even while hung up, which made the cold room feel colder when exiting the shower. The air was muggy in there as well. It's about a 30 min walk into town, or a quick drive. When we got into town we realized there seemed to be a lot of bed and breakfasts that we somehow didn't find online to book, so make sure you check more thoroughly than we did if you're planning on checking out downtown while you're visiting. I wouldn't stay here again

we enjoyed the location very much.

This property was in a good downtown location. The river was just a block away, the museum was across the street. Many restaurants were within easy walking distance.

we were at the end of the building and since we were there two days, we walked a bit every time we wanted to go to or from our room.

Comfortable and clean

Comfortable, large rooms and it was quiet.Staff were very friendly.

It was just on the outskirts of town, so had to drive everywhere, but once in town you can park and walk.

Good

The place was a little older but still in great shape. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet.

The shower head connection was leaking pretty bad and spraying water all over the bathroom. I ended up taking a bath to eliminate someone below getting wet.

Stay was good but I do not like to be double charged.

Everytthing was good when comes to the hotel

I got charged twice for my stay, Once through Booking.com and once through the hotel. I have the charges on my creditcard as proof. I phoned the hotel to have one charhe reversed. They argued with me and wanted proof. Obviously the comunication netweem Booking.com and the hotel does not work. I womder how far I have to go to get thet charge reversed.

middle of the pack based on everything and hope they improve the internet soon.

It was a good location and decent price for the area. The ones running it are very nice folks amd I believe its a family run business and they do a good job at looking after the place.

The beds were mediocre and manageable but need replacing soon at least in the room I had for sure. The hot and cold fluctuations when having a shower ( didnt seem to matter what time of day it was ) were brutal and every 30 seconds it went from to hot to stand under to freezing cold and back and fourth. The internet absolutely sucked to say it nicely. She warned me it was bad and claimed to be some new system which is fine if it wad and hopefully gets fixed soon but I have a very good feeling shes been telling guests tha speech for a long time. Next trip up there I would stay at same place if the internet had a huge improvement as I can deal with the crappy shower knowing what it does. I actually hate to knock the motel cause they really do try to make your stay great but internet is impotent to me for a few reasons and well it sucks.

Superb

Very clean. The staff are very nice and responsive.

Hope one day the bathroom will be available within room. Now I have to go out for shared bathroom during the night.

The beds are comfortable and clean. Location is good. Wifi is terrible. Bathroom needs renovations - looks like a run down gas station bathroom. Towels are passable. The tv volume goes up and down on its own The shower head thinks I'm on the wall and not in the bathtub, ie. Doesn't stay in place

I would rather sleep in a tent and save $150

The front desk clerk was nice.

Upon entering out room that we paid $150 for there was over 30 huge mosquitoes in our room that we had to kill and lfet blood stains from the preciois guest all over. The tile in the bathroom didn't look scrubbed at all. The room had a very strong deodorant purfume smell that was very pungent. For the price we were not impressed at all, and highly not recommended. Unbelievably slow internet and thin walls! The bed bases had old stains from who know how long ago.

People smoking outside our door. The smell of smoke inside our room in the middle of the night. A tear in the drapes.
