Cleanliness should be improved, everything else is good.

Very good location, close to MRT Short walk to Xintiandi

Dirty room, dirty floor (many hair on floor) full of dust even bedsheet and pillows. I stayed 4 nights, but feel like they didn’t change towels and bedsheets, didn’t even mob the floor. I had to wear slippers all the time. The hotel entrance smelled terrible from the garbage of the neighborhood hotel in front.

Un peu dangereux les lits avec escaliers avec enfant en bas age. Pas de lit bébé dommage

Great location / breakfast / price / staff and a stylish room and comfy bed!

Great location (near to subway lines and walking distance from both), comfortable bed and stylish, well appointed split-level bedroom. Great breakfast and helpful staff, who I could communicate with via translation apps to help book tickets up Shanghai tower. Walking distance from nice areas in the French concession.

Staff didn’t speak English considering what a metropolitan city Shanghai is. Though I am aware English isn’t spoken widely in China.

Un superbe hotel en plein centre de Shanghai

Très bien placé, en plein centre et à proximité de beaucoup de restaurants et de lignes de métro. La chambre est grande, spacieuse et confortable, le chauffage fonctionnait parfaitement ce qui était fort appréciable aux vues des températures. Les staff parlait peu anglais mais était très gentil et l´endroit était calme.

Room was clean and nice, technics and all sanitaries was in working condition.

Conditioner, that heated the room was a bit strange. Every night it was cold for me, being under the blanket, and every morning that was too warm. I used it on 20 degrees, but every morning there was about 24 in my room. Breakfast was not bad, but had some troubles. Every hot dishes usually cold. Scrambled egg cold and not cooked, very liquid. I asked to make in cooked and hotter, and women answered me that it is hot. Don’t know why, cause it wasn’t, like every other morning. And there cockroaches. One of them even crawled into my friend’s coffee…

Location was close to public transport. Rooms were clean and decor was nice.

Une situation parfaite avec un service parfait

L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier animé avec de nombreux magasins et très pratique pour prendre le métro (à 100 mètres). Les chambres sont au calme, aucun bruit de circulation compte tenu de l'emplacement de l'hôtel, un peu en retrait de la rue principale. Le petit-déjeuner est complet et varié, nous étions ravis d'avoir du pain frais tous les matins comme en France !

Do not recommend it

Staff is friendly, room was clean and warm (we stayed in November). Hostel is near the metro station, restaurants and shops.

This is not a hotel but a hostel. Have poor hostel quality, located in a narrow, dark street. The bathroom needed to be repaired (it was after we asked for it). Breakfast was terrible (small portion and limited choice) and expensive compared to what we could order in the nearby restaurant. The hostel is old and needs to be renovated. Facilities and common are also poor. We chose this place after reading very good Booking.com opinions but it was far away from what we expected. I would rate this place maximum 6.5 not 8.2. Not recommended this to anyone I know.

Highly recommend for short stay

The location is perfect! Easy access to metro. It is located at the center of the city.

The wall is too thin that you can hear people taking shower next door.

Great location and value for money

Great location and nice design in the rooms. Also I arrived early in the morning from a long haul flight and the kind staff let me check in - so grateful

I heard others say it’s noisy but I asked for a quiet room and I had a great spot at the end of the corridor

A beautiful cozy hotel with very friendly and helpful staff

An amazing hotel. I don't have a single thing to complain about. All of the staff that I had a chance to interact with were very lovely. The room was spacious, had a lot of light, and was clean. The interior was super cute too.

Very comfy hotel

Very comfy and modern room. Great stay close to lots of shops and metro.

Breakfast. Your hot items were not hot sorry. Cold eggs not good, and should place salt and pepper on tables. Fruit etc was good.

property is at a decent area.

none of the staff was conversant in English. It was our first time in Shanghai and we come from English speaking country. Reason why we visited Shanghai was because it is the biggest or 2nd biggest economy right now and it’s going international. Hence I would assume everyone speaks English decently but unfortunately was not the case.

Superb

Breakfast was nice, specially the bread options! Location was convenient, very close to subway. We had two rooms next to each other. Key was not working in one room, but they were able to move one of the rooms and still keep us close to each other.

the entrance of the hotel is garbage storage so it’s a little bit dirty and smelly
