Wonderful time! Would be back

Location, room and ambiance are wonderful. Amazing little beach bungalows, and the beach is relatively well maintained. AC unit worked very well, shower was clean. Access to paddle boards and kayaks whenever you need. Quiet and secluded, close to bars, activities/dock down the road. Staff is very friendly and will arrange anything for you on the island. Lea and Lukas went out of their way to take care of us. Security on site 24/7

Bar and front desk were not always staffed, had to ask/find someone. Had to pay for water. House keeping has to be done before noon. No availability for food in the evenings.

Nice place to stay with extra amenities, staff is ok

We liked the location overall. It is a short walk to the main downtown area (small). The decor is great which is what drew me to the booking originally. They provided lots of extras such as umbrellas, bug spray, kayaks and bicycles. And the room had a safe, a microwave and coffee pot with coffee which was great. Netflix was available on the small TV which was a bonus.

I didn't give the staff a great review because of the one person at the front desk. The woman at the front desk appeared accommodating but said no to almost everything I asked for (an extra pillow, to get our room cleaned after 9am (because that was too late to ask), and no to having our gift basket which was advertised). She soured the trip a little for me and took me out of vacation mode.The security guard and the bar tender were great. The place is small so we didn't come into contact with anyone else. I don't like giving negative reviews but this place while nice also seemed to have a little deferred maintenance. The bikes are great to have but only if the tires are aired and the seats adjust. The bed was ok but not super comfortable for the price. We haven't traveled to Belize before so maybe this is standard for the country, however the week before we were in the jungle near San Ignacio and the stay was much better.

Nothing posh but an authentic Belizean experience

Friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast brought to your room and the location was perfect, close to the village but I felt as if we were tucked away in the jungle. Also, I loved that they have a vehicle and driver if you don't feel like walking,

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Great time and a great place to stay if going to Placencia - if we go back, we'd stay there again.

The staff is awesome! Especially Lea and Lucas. The beach was great to hang out on and cleaned of seaweed every day. We also enjoyed the other guests that stayed there, had drinks around the pool at the end of each day and compared snorkel and restaurant notes. It is also walkable to all the the good food in Placencia!

There is not much to dislike! Our room was very small/cozy and it felt like we paid a premium price during what was very low season. One suggestion might be to provide a bit of a variation in the comp breakfast each morning - but that's just a suggestion, not a real complaint.

Great Location in Placencia!

the property felt very secluded even though it was right on the Placencia sidewalk. it was far enough away to be super quiet but close enough to be walkable to most everything!

I really enjoyed the property. nothing to complain about!

well it’s sad that the trash on beach doesn’t get picked up in front of hotel— ruins the beach vibe

the cabana was cute and clean. staff were very nice.

there was so much trash and seaweed on beach it smelled awful. at other hotels they pay to have this cleaned up and removed. this hotel doesn’t. obviously you couldn’t swim, and hotel pool was tiny.

Exceptional

The staph is just the best!! every singe staph member was super friendly and helpful and made sure we are having the best time. Cabanas are really comfortable and well equipped. The beach was amazing, the pool and pool bar were great.

Great location, friendly staff, and beautiful ocean views!

We cannot talk highly enough of the staff! Leah, Leo, and Lucas were all so welcoming, friendly, and helpful! They greeted us with rum punch, helped us book our excursions and dinner reservations, and even hung out with us at the pool and bars! Our room was clean, right across from the pool, and just a few steps from the ocean!

There was no hot water for a shower, but honestly, that was very common in Belize and it was so hot there I probably should not have even thought twice about it. I don't have anything to complain about though, CBC was great!

First visit to Placencia. Really was not impressed other than the snorkeling at Silk Caye.

Grounds were well kept. Staff was nice. Enjoyed the rooftop balcony above our villa. I exercised up there one time.

Room was very small, particularly the bathroom. Plumbing wasn't so great in the room, pipes made noise and water pressure was terrible. Beach area was nice and peaceful, unfortunately due to excessive seaweed everywhere, I only swam a few times. Pool was tiny. I ordered one meal and that was enough. Food was not the greatest.

A relaxing, uninterrupted paradise.

We were very happy with the staff at Caribbean beach cabana. They all were exceptional and went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated. The food and drinks were the best out of all the places we went to and stayed at. The chef made an amazing tasting breakfast and the bartender made us really delicious drinks. The driver was also a perk to our stay, helping us every time to our desired destination. Would completely recommend this cute, quaint place to stay right near downtown Placencia.

Very good

Well located, close to many restaurants and grocery stores. 10 minute walk to the harbor where many dive shops could be found. Great suggestions from the staff for activities including events at nearby restaurants.

The wifi did not work at our villa "La Hacienda" as previously mentioned by another reviewer but did work almost everywhere else in the resort. It could be an inconvenience to some in this particular villa. The complimentary breakfast was adequate (a small bun, fruits, juice) but a more substantial breakfast can be purchased. While there is a beach on site, the water is not useable due to an accumulation of seagrass and debris. However, world-class dive sites / snorkeling sites are a boat ride away from the harbor.
