Spacious condo with full kitchen and golf cart

The property manager Allison is so nice. She picked us up from the boat and helped with our luggage. The location is perfect being only a couple minutes walk to front street. The condo is spacious considering Catalina options and comfortably fit my family. We enjoyed having a full kitchen as my family has dietary restrictions. The added benefit of a golf cart helped us explore the town without having to walk everywhere.

The shower head had mold and was difficult to use unless you were short.

I recently had a delightful stay at Catalina Island. Allison, the property manager, made our experience exceptional. Her warm greeting at the pier and assistance in getting to the condo set a positive tone. She even sang Happy birthday to my daughter upon our arrival. The complimentary golf cart added a fun touch, and the condo’s proximity to the beach was convenient.

It was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, plenty of towels and toilet tissue, large tv in the living room with access to streaming services. It was also a short distance to the dock, Vons and all the restaurants and shops. Our ferry was canceled the last day of our stay and Alison was so accommodating!

There was a lot of furniture which meant many places to sit and put things down on but we did have to move items to accommodate the roll out bed.

Clean but very outdated

The property is within walking distance to just about everything.

Part of the reason I booked this property was because it had a pool. Not all rentals have pools. The day before check in, I was informed the pool wasn’t in working order. That was disappointing but what can you do? The owner states that they informed booking.com but it wasn’t anywhere in the descriptions I read prior to booking. On top of that, the pool was under construction so not only could we not use it but we had to listen to two days of a Jack hammer - doesn’t make for a relaxing time.

Golf cart a big plus

Allison, the manager, was warm, welcoming and helpful. The condo was walking distance from beach, etc. Loved that it included a golf cart!

We had a very memorable experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic get away.

The condo was spacious and comfortable; we had TV and wifi. We really enjoyed having the golf cart for our entire stay. It made this condo a real value choice.

Could have used air-conditioning.

lots of room to spread out. Lots of seating areas, living room, sitting area in bedroom, balcony & 2 dinette tables. also the gold cart was very useful getting around.

we really enjoyed a nice relaxing stay.

Location was great, comfortable furnishings. Very quiet. Really appreciated the use of the golf cart.

Weather sucked while we were there, rainy and cold. Nighttime parking space for golf cart was about 1/4 mile away(a minor inconvenience).

Was not aware that the Pool and Hot Tub were being renovated since the beginning of the pandemic. these amenities were out of order during our stay. The heaters in the unit did not function. it was cold most of the time. The only source of heat was a small heater fan that heated up only one room a time. Most of the kitchen appliances were about 30+ years old. Window curtains didn’t cover 100% for full privacy. Shower head water saving type was so restricting and needed to be replaced for a more adequate shower.

Comfortable Condo with golf cart for easy access to sight seeing and enjoying the Island

Allison is a fantastic host. The condo is neat and clean. The golf cart makes it easy to get around town and to sight see. Allison met us at the fairy dock to take us to the condo. My hubby got very sick on the boat and had to be taken off by EMS and go to the ER. Allison helped me get my luggage to the condo and guided me to the ER.

Enjoyable, relaxing 5 year anniversary!

The location was great and the golf cart was an added bonus! Allison was great and responded to texts quickly and arranged to meet our ferry at dock with golf cart! Property was clean and well stocked with towels and housewares.

Good

The condo was nice but out dated. When we got there, we were supposed to be picked up at the dock. I tried calling the contact person but I had no service. So we walked to the condo. When we got close to the condo I finally got a hold of the contact person. We had to wait a few minutes for the contact person to meet us to show us our condo. We were located on the 2nd floor and the elevator wasn't working. Also to find out that the golf cart that I was suppose to use broke down so we used the contact personal cart. (Verry old) Also the place wasn't clean. The past guests had left food in the refrigerator and toys under the dining room table. When it came time to leave, I called our contact person to give us a ride back to the dock, she told us that she couldn't do it . But instead she sent her daughter to pick us up instead but had to wait another 10 to 20 min.

Our favorite place!

We were picked up as soon as the boat arrived & taken to the condo. It was recently updated (paint, flooring, TV, etc.) and it looks great. The bathroom sink started to leak so I text Allison and she showed up within 10 minutes to have it fixed. We've been going to Catalina every year for our anniversary since we got married there 9 years ago, this was our 2nd time staying here & we'll be staying here every year from now on. Plus, Allison is the best!

It is an island so it's cooler than inland & the fans keep it pretty cool, we just happen to go at the hottest time of the year so an extra fan or a ceiling fan might be nice down the road. But honestly it's not a must since we spent most of the day out & about.

Had wonderful time relaxing at the beach and playing pool at the marlin club

golf cart was an awesome bonus and close to the beach. I was able to have friends over who were staying at Hamilton cove and weren’t allowed to have guests.

Stay at a hotel and rent a cart for a few hours when needed. No need for us to return to this rental

The management or owner(not sure) notified us one day prior our arrival threat the pool and jacuzzi were not working. Once we got there it looked like both pool and jacuzzi had been empty for weeks prior. Seemed sneaky. Also the golf cart needed a lot of maintenance. I filled up a leaky tire daily and it is the loudest cart on the island. People would often look at us to see what all the noise was. There was more to note but I am a busy person with a son that has a disability so time is precious.

Golf cart awesomeness

The golf cart was an amazing feature. It really enhanced our trip. The bed was extremely comfortable. No ac but lots of box fans and a large private balcony. Our host Allison was awesome. She met us at the dock with the golf cart and took us to the condo. Unfortunately the golf cart broke down immediately on arrival BUT we were lent their personal golf cart.

The pool and hot tub were out of service but we were too busy enjoying the island. The couch was very uncomfortable but I'd rather a good bed than a couch.

I liked having the golf to drive around the island.

The advertisement said there was a hot tub. There was a pool and hot tub but both were empty and not working and according to people who live in the building full time they haven't been working for several years so misleading information on web site.

Catalina comfort & charm!

Perfect for our stay. It was myself, my wife, & our 14 year old son. The sofa bed was comfy enough for our boy and we had a great stay.

If I HAD to pick something (and I really had zero complaints) it would be that the elevator was really slow. But we didn’t really need it, so it wasn’t a big deal.
