Bad experience

Location was good and rooms were clean

My room was already paid for and upon arrival the girl at the front desk said I need to pay $200 fully refundable in damage deposit but the only way of paying was through master card. I asked her if visa is ok and she said no only Mastercard and I told her I only have visa and she said no we can’t take payment unless it’s a Mastercard and I tried to explain to her that I don’t have a Mastercard and visa should work and she refused to listen to me or give the visa a try. She asked if I had someone who can come down and pay with Mastercard which made no sense to me. And the time period I’m waiting I had to wait in the lobby even tho my room was fully paid for. I even asked if I can get my room because it’s fully paid for and when my boyfriend got there he will use his Mastercard . She still refused and when I asked for the manager she said the manager is not available at this time so i sat in the lobby with all my luggage waiting for a friend to come help me. Once my friend arrived 1 hr 1/2 later he went and paid the $200 damage deposit and used his Visa card without saying anything to the girl . Coincidentally the payment went through and he clearly said “I just used my Visa card” and she had a blank look on her face because I was telling her for so long that I will use my Visa card and she kept telling me no. Secondly, I was staying there with my boyfriend for 2 nights and our last night there we went out and came back around 6pm and couldn’t get into our room. We called front desk to tell them our key is not working so they sent up maintenance. When the maintenance guy came he told us he has to change the entire key lock because the battery died for it and it will take a while to fix.

A great family stay

A lovely modern hotel with great facilities. The bar area was good with a great range of drinks. We had breakfast in the hotel which was also very good. The location is OK - not the nicest part of town but having a Walmart close by is useful. We used the pool which was very nice.

Parking was impossible - very very long exhausting day & I wasn't OK but, got sent to the dungeon parking lot all completely full. Very upsetting. And sky train was just outside my room so the noise wasn't good.

The view was incredible, the layout of the room works really well and made it really comfortable. The in-room dining from Dominion was a tasty treat.

Would definitely recommend.

Very clean and comfy room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The location was a bit hard to figure out for someone that is not a local, and then trying to find somewhere to park temporarily while checking in and figuring out where the hotel parking was turned out to be a bit of a stressful situation.

Midnight City Vibes... great for partying!

I wish that I was not charged for parking. I was never informed that I would be charged for parking... :(

I didn't like that the garage is not connected to the main elevator when you go down. You have to take another elevator into the garage.

Superb

The room was clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I felt safe in my room.

I did not feel safe in the area of the hotel. I would have liked a lower price on the room. Too much for the area.

new build and stylish rooms

it was all so new and modern. the dominion restaurant was great after a long day. the pool was not in service but it was Feb so it didn’t affect our stay. the room was fantastic and check in was easy. parking underground was quite full in the stalls provided. I needed to park in the staff stalls but if a staff member wasn’t in the parkade to help me it would’ve been annoying as all stalls provided to hotel were full. that was the only hiccup. otherwise a great stay and I’d book again.
