Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und die Anlage mit dem Pool ebenfalls sehr schön. Der Betreiber David und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Die Nähe zum Strand war ideal.

Posto accogliente per godersi una delle spiagge più belle della Costa Rica del sud. Accanto al Village c’è uno dei ristoranti più buoni della zona (consigliata la prenotazione), che da solo vale la sosta.

Bardzo wygodne łóżko! Pokój przygotowany bardzo dobrze, była lodówka, parasolka, ręczniki plażowe, kosmetyki w łazience, latarka. W pokoju czysto, ale podczas 4-nocy naszego pobytu nie było sprzątane, jedynie wyniesione kosze na śmieci. Poza tym wszystko oceniam bardzo wysoko. Lokalizacja 2 minuty od plaży, ale samo miasteczko nie ma zbyt wiele do zaoferowania.

Everything about the experience was excellent. The site/facility is superb - a tranquil lush garden around a pool that provides lots of shade and places to relax. Spacious rooms with great showers, internet access and secure parking. The breakfast (especially the fresh fruit) on the second level looking over the garden was a great start to the day. The hotel is about 200 metres from the beach - an easy walk for a morning swim or a full day at the beach. The beach is a sublime 20 km stretch of sand (no one there and lots of space to walk and play). David (owner) was a fantastic source of information for local coffee places, restaurants, things to do and places to visit. His dog, Stella, is also a wonderful host.
Nothing really - We had originally reserved another property at Matapalo that did not work. David flexed the schedule to accommodate us.

This is a beautiful hotel walkable to a lovely, clean beach, with paved roads and covered parking, air conditioning, lovely breakfast, a delightful pool and grounds. The gardens were phenomenal. Every care has been taken to provide what guests would need, including umbrellas and beach towels. David is a wonderful host, very communicative and accommodating.

Ottima colazione. Parcheggio privato a 50 metri dalla spiaggia di matapalo. Siamo stai benissimo.
Non mangiate alla vicina soda Kakete… pessima.
Unico piccolo neo abbiamo soggiornato 2 giorni e il secondo giorno non hanno fatto le pulizie non so forse e’ stata una dimenticanza. Per il resto ottimo soggiorno

Complimentary breakfast was Ok, eggs any style or omelet with a few ingredients. Nothing special, but the access to a full kitchen was great as I bring a lot of my own food for snacks or to make a salad or sandwich. The grounds were attractive, the room was spacious with a nice hot shower, comfortable bed and A/C and fan. David is a great host, the hotel is a minutes walk to a long beautiful beach with very few people. Other than a neighbor's rooster who started crowing before daybreak (welcome to Costa Rica jaja), it was very quiet and tranquil.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Coco Beach Village which is located just 1 minute (by walk) from amazing Matapalo beach. Our room was spacious, very clean and all rooms are overlooking the beautiful garden with the nice pool. The owners David and Roja are both lovely. David even showed us the sloths on the beach and organised surf lessons with a great instructor. It is very quiet and perfectly located to easily reach all attractions of the surrounding (for example Manuel Antonio and Marino Ballena national parks) or just to spend a relaxing beach day (my wife got a 1 hour massage from a lady directly at Matapalo beach which was fantastic). In addition, also the breakfast was very nice.

The place is built like an hotal but it's a B&B. The hosts are very involved in the guests wellbeing and the guests themselves have opportunities to chat with eachother.
The facility itself is beautiful with the building creating a courtyard with a garden and a pool. The rooms are very big and well equipped with towels for the pool, for the beach, umbrella, and microwave. The bed's mattress was the extremely comfy. The rooms were very clean. The big glass windows are letting in a lot of light, and make the beautiful garden visible (they have mirror glass so people can't see the inside of the room from the outside)
Breakfast is not a buffet and is made and served for each guest. The beach is two minutes walk as well as a couple of restaurants in a walking distance and a few more 5 to 10 minutes by car.
Altogether we had a really pleasant stay and would recommend it
As said, we really liked the place so the below is for other to have proper expectations:
* The only thing that we didn't like was that the washroom was not completely closed. There's an opening above the door that let some sounds and odors into the room.
* The shower doesn't have a door. Wasn't an issue for us but might be for others
* The beach is beautiful but with a strong surf and currents so not ideal for swimming (though you can cool down by going waist high and let the waves do the rest). There's also no food or drink service on the beach
* It's about 40 minutes to Manuel Antonio or Uvita so it's 80 minutes of driving each day you plan to visit. We still found it worth it as most of the hotels in Quepos are expensive and not as nice

David is fun, he extends himself, he loves what he does. He and his wife are the best hotel owners. They go out of their way for their guests to be very comfortable. My husbands sandals broke and he even glued it for him. The hotel is super clean, the garden is beautiful. Love the exotic plants in the garden. When you sit in the garden birds are chirping and coming and going. It is so restful. Great place to pause and meditate. The breakfast is delicious, lots of fruits and juices, eggs, rice and beans. There are restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The beach is a short walk away. Be sure to check out the sunrise and sunset. It is gorgeous. I highly recommend Coco Beach Villa.

Wow, what a gem. Easy access from Pan Am Hwy. Good size room with table, fridge, microwave. Wonderful garden and pool. Secure parking with remote controlled gate. Good, albeit a bit pricey, restaurant next door and good local restaurant down the street. Lots of birds for observing. Wonderful breakfast with fresh local fruit, eggs, etc.

This was a beautiful hotel and we had a wonderful time here. David, the owner, was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was cooked to order. It’s a very short walk to the beach, which we had almost to ourselves. The garden and pool were very nice too.
The only small issues were that the air conditioning would sometimes stop working (quickly fixed) and there were a lot of dogs at the house next door that were pretty noisy. Not a big deal at all.

Great breakfast. Beautiful grounds and pool. Close to beach and store. Very friendly hosts and staff, helped us book horseback tour. Great location walk to beach, store and one of the best restaurants in CR is next door.
It would be nice to have some dishes and cutlery to go with the dish rack. On the plus side we were able to use the hosts kitchen to cook some pasta and sauce.

Amazing place! Managed to do a few laps at the pool. The beach next door is stunning. The hosts were super nice. The room was very spacious and the building itself is gorgeous. Absolutely would recommend!

This property is immaculate. The owners Tammy and Ron are the nicest people you will meet. They really care about you and go the extra mile to make sure you are beyond happy. We were there during our anniversary and got home to find a beautiful anniversary cake for us to enjoy. The pool and grounds are beautiful. The breakfast is fantastic. Fresh fruit bowl and juice. Great pancakes, omelettes, toast, typical rice with extra veggies, sausage, you name it. Also 24 hour hot coffee and drink station. The location is also excellent. You can hear the ocean from your room. It is a two minute walk to one of the nicest beaches in Costa Rica. The village of Matapalo is a hidden gem. Quiet, safe, an amazing 17km beach with fantastic sunsets. Loads of sloths and animals around. If you have a car it is the perfect location, close to Manuel Antonio and Uvita. You can’t go wrong here. It was the highlight of out one moth trip to Costa Rica.

Tammy and Ron have created a true oasis with their bed and breakfast. The grounds are lovely, with lots of separate areas to relax and enjoy. The breakfast provided each morning was filling and delicious. The beach is very nearby and at times we could even catch a glimpse from the second floor.
We rented the Queen Suite with Pool View. The description of the room did not indicate that there might be a privacy issue. There are no full walls (floor to ceiling) or doors separating the main living areas or bedrooms/bathrooms. We made the best of the situation but would have like to have known this. We even went back and looked at the listing to see if we missed something in the write-up but couldn't tell from the photos or description provided.
