Kinda knit-picking, but small maintenince items jump out at me (because I worked a couple years in the industry.) Stuff like loose fastners/hangers and marks on the walls the could be easily fixed but do not always get reported by housekeeping and few hotels have management staff do walk through inspections anymore.

The welcoming was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful and super clean. My kids loved the pool extended hours and i loved the hot tub. The breakfast was really good and offered a nice variety. I also noticed the rooms are well sound proofed as we didnt hear any neighbors and it was packed.

Close to the Fredrick Meijer Sculpture Garden. Fruit for breakfast was fresh and ripe. Clean, modern

No black tea such as Lipton or English Breakfast, just Earl Gray. Also no plain old scrambled eggs with the other plentiful breakfast offerings.

Coin laundry, arcade, indoor pool were the surprises.

Night staff gentleman was fantastic and assisted in getting us another night in the same room.

By far the best Country Inn we've ever stayed in. Modern, clean. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast above par for free hotel buffet breakfasts. Convenient to Meijer Gardens and a short drive to downtown.

Food was good. Rooms were clean and nice. Staff seemed friendly but the guy at the desk didn’t seem that interested in attempting to rectify the laps in the change of the date of our reservation.

I had to change the date for my original reservation due to being sick. I requested through booking that my reservation date be bumped back by two weeks. I also independently requested the date change directly through the hotel. I was told that that would be ok but that the reservation would be $50 more than the original reservation. I said that would be ok but when I showed up Country Inn and Suites had no record of the requested reservation change. It was already almost mid night so I just paid for a new room and went to bed. I requested a refund for the initial reservation but It’s been a week an I have yet to receive any word from them.

I liked the location and the quality of the facilities. The breakfast was delicious.

The pillows were small and flat. Since we were.only in the hotel.long enough to sleep, this was very disappointing.

Staff was warm and welcoming, and cookies were immediately provided at the front desk (available 24 hours). We requested a room on a high floor and enjoyed the light in our spacious room.

Breakfast could use some reconsideration, even acknowledging that there's not much that the hotel can do about the apparently ravenous guests. There was no yogurt. And there must be another channel to which the tv screens can be tuned besides Fox News.
