Overall a good enough stat but spoilt by an overpriced and service lacking breakfast, plus poor reception staff service.

We will defiantly be back.

The checkin staff were excellent, the room was excellent with a great view of the bay. The breakfast staff were very accommodating with dietary requirements.

Probably not worth your money! There are other great options along Southbank..

I liked how easy it was to access Southbank and crown facilities. Usually we like the pool and sauna but the sauna wasn’t running… without notification prior

I didnt appreciate that they didn’t fulfil my request, I understand it’s not always attainable but for the amount of money paid… the sauna wasn’t working and I wasn’t notified. The sauna is one of the reasons I’m a repeat crown customer. Valet was 70$ instead of the usual 50$ and I had 0 notification either… otherwise I would’ve just parked up somewhere. Just spent so much money for a very very average weekend. My view was a building, the room service was cold, expensive and average, the sauna wasn’t operating, valet went up 20$ without me knowing… just eh. Probably won’t return, which is a shame for me because I’m usually a 2/3 times a year stayer. But I just can’t justify it anymore, and this time has put a bad taste in my mouth….

Great casual stay

The hotel lobby was high class, clean and roomy. Pool was bigger than expected with beautiful view. Room quality was top notch - clean and comfortable and we love the couch/bench by the window, facing Crown Towers.

The little Espresso stall downstairs, next to the lifts was surprisingly bad. Their breakfast brioche had dried out bacon and stacked awkwardly. We don't expect superb but we expect at least some respect to what you're serving.

Very disappointing

It was convenient

My daughter was very ill the next morning and incompacitated in the room and when management were approached about the situation their only concern was about getting their room back, which I found very distressing.

It was nice but the beds and pillows were very bad

It was nice but the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were very bad that I was so sore then next 2 day from my stay

We loved our clean, quiet comfortable room, heavenly shower and especially the pool and view.

We bypassed the breakfast options as we are vegan and there weren’t many options without dairy/eggs. However we spent the morning at the pool and the coffees and hot chocolate’s were delicious.

I thought the bed would have been more comfortable. It was good but could have maybe used a mattress topper. Some more vegan options for room service would be amazing.

Fantastic hotel to stay in. Although Crown Metropol is supposed to be higher class, Promenade felt nicer.

Location was fantastic! Located close to Kingpin and other children's activities. Family friendly and staff were lovely and accommodating.

Took a long time to retrieve our cars through valet parking, and extra plates would have been great for in room dining, and our view was very ordinary.

Great location being a short walk to south Bank, really appreciated the upgrade for our anniversary that was very special that they went the extra mile for us. Made our stay very memorable. Amazing spa and pool on a winters day.

Good location and excellent amenities.

Everything was the high quality I expected from Crown, with one tiny exception below.

The only thing that I thought was below the standard I would expect from crown, and it is only a very small thing, is the shower head. The design only allows it to shoot at best about 35 degrees down, which sort of sucks when you're 6'2" and the highest the water stream goes is mid chest. I would have liked to see a more vertical shower stream, but i understand there are constraints with contruction etc so it is a very trivial issue.
