El acceso al hotel es muy viable, tiene una vista impresionante, la atención perfecta, todo estuvo bien!
Del cuarto nivel hacia el tercer nivel caía agua y afectaba estar acostado en la hamaca

The room was very clean and the surrounding grounds were nice. The WiFi was quite good.
- It was quite pricey for what you get
- The communication before arrival wasn't the best
- Some staff were helpful but some weren't which made us feel not welcome
- Booking.com had laundry services listed in the facilities however when we asked one staff member they said there wasn't any and sent us to a different hotel. Upon returning unsuccessfully they finally conceded and allowed us to use their washing machines, for a fee. The whole interaction was just unnecessarily stressful and left a bad taste.
- The jacuzzi wasn't working and we received no prior notice of this when booking
- The surrounding grounds are nice but not as quiet as expected. A nearby hostel plays loud music almost constantly. Not Uxabil's fault but took away from the tranquil escape we expected.
- The restaurant on site is poor for allergens

The staff are all local and very friendly. The customers are a mixture of foreigners and Guatemalans which I liked. The views from our bedroom and from the restaurant are spectacular. The gardens are full of birds and butterflies and the birdsong is gorgeous. The food was reasonably priced and local and tasty and you can see it being made. The pontoon is an excellent and quiet swimming spot and kept our teenage boys busy and very happy. I also liked being a short 5 m walk into San Juan de la Laguna, a colourful town with good selection of shops and the mirador with great views of the lake. San Pedro is the other side and a short 10 m walk or quick tuk Tuk trip. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing eco accommodation in the quiet part of Lake Atitlan - next to the San Juan village. It is 15mins by walking to San Pedro and 5min walking to San Juan. The rooms are sharing big common balcony from where you can quietly watch lake Atitlan, birds and nature around. You can also relax in big garden, which belongs to the hotel. We've booked hiking guide to Indian Nose via the hotel. Breakfast in the hotel was also amazing. Just count with longer waiting time (approx. 30mins until you are served and your food is reayy). Maybe more staff would make it quicker. We've stayed for 3 nights and it was one of highlights of our stay in Guatemala.

Beautiful views to lake atitlan. Nice and helpful staff. Decoration of the place and its atmosphere.
The shower was problematic-the water we’re either too warm or too cold. By nighttime it’s getting really dark and the road leading too the the hotel is not enlightened at all. Therefore It doesn’t feel safe during the night to walk there so we stayed at the hotel after nightfall. The food was fine but not really tasty.
Two more things-it will be better if the hotel direct exactly the guests which boat they should take to the hotel’s dock or what to say to the operator. We had to get off at the main dock and take a taxi instead of getting straight at the hotel’s dock. And the mails from the hotel should be written in English not only Spanish.

We loved the food and the location was amazing. We also enjoyed the inexpensive drinks. The staff are helpful, accommodating, and very friendly. When we weren't satisfied with our original room due to lack of ventilation, they changed us to a bigger and more spacious room with a private balcony free of charge. Setting up the kayaking and jacuzzi was very easy and made for some really romantic moments for my wife and I. The garden out front and surroundings around the hotel were extremely beautiful even without the lush mountains and lake.
I didn't like that there wasn't an area to wash our clothes or dry them. The room we had orginally didn't ventilate well so when are clothes got wet, they just stayed wet in our room and smelled gross. I also wish the windows had bug screens which would've made the ventilation problem not a problem at all because we could've just left the windows open.

Location and the view of the lake and surroundings.
The bathroom in our room was in need of upgrading and there was a strong septic odor.

Clean hotel in great location - we walked into San Juan in 10 mins and San Pedro in 15, tuk tuk from San Pedro was 10Q. The hotel will call boats to the dock to take you anywhere you want to go for no extra price. We were in room R1 which had a large window overlooking the lake and private balcony. Room cleaned daily. Great breakfast included and free drinking water. Kayaks were great and always available. The views were brilliant with swimming straight off the dock. Would 100% recommend.
A ladder at the end of the dock would have been useful for getting out of the lake, but there are steps available. Nothing else not to like!

The service, ammenities, and quality of food and drink were all great. Furthermore the location and natural setting are outstanding. We didn't even fully take advantage of all the amenities but we still feel that we had an outstanding stay.
A self serve coffee station would probably be beneficial to both the guests and staff.

The location was absolutely stunning. It felt like we were in paradise, whilst being near enough to San Juan and San Pedro to enjoy being able to explore.
Nothing!

Beautiful surroundings and amazing views from the outside of our room. I liked the room and the decoration. Also perfect location, quiet qrea but at the same time situated at a walking distance from the main attractions in San Juan la Laguna.
The bar and restaurant service could have been much better in general.

The hotel is modest, but clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good place to stay if visiting San Juan La Laguna.

beautiful property, nice & helpful staff, yummy kitchen.
I was on the third floor and the people walking on the fourth floor could sometimes be very loud.

Great location, right on the lake front with beautiful views and own dock (where you can arrange pick up and drop off from other towns around the lake). Gardens we’re lovely and lots of little spots to sit and read etc. Staff were very helpful and friendly, although did sometimes have to go looking for them. I ate at the restaurant a couple of times, the food was nice but portions were quite small. Rooms with balcony were comfortable. Use of the free kayaks was a great addition - lovely to get out on the lake for a couple of hours. All in all well worth the money and a great base for exploring San Juan and the surrounding towns.
The restaurant was closed between breakfast and dinner. Would have been nice to have been able to order a coffee or soft drink during the day whilst sitting out overlooking the lake.

The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking. Perfect place to relax and disconnect. I didn’t have a chance to try the food, but I have a feeling it would’ve been delicious. The facilities were stunning and the staff was friendly.
It’s difficult to find something I didn’t like. If I had to say one thing, I guess it’s that my shower didn’t have hot water.

a lovely setting for a family stay. conveniently located between the gorgeous, artistic town of San Juan and backpackers hub of San Pedro.
personally, the breakfasts were nice but everything else on the menu was pretty bland. Going out in San Juan as an alternative was possible on foot but the 10 min alleyway walk was a little unsettling in the dark and it was very quiet in San Juan in the evening. San Pedro was a walk on a busy road so at night a tutut is best.

I had an amazing stay here! The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful. I ate at the restaurant for my free breakfast and for dinners. The food was delicious, and I made great friends with those who worked there! The view from the hotel is stunning (you can see Rostro Maya perfectly), and I really enjoyed taking out one of the hotel's kayaks. It is a leisurely walk from the center of San Juan, and I am really glad I had the opportunity to stay there!

the location is insane. such a beautiful place with a great view. the access to the kayaks is great too.
San Juan is much nicer than San Pedro. therefore the location is great!
a bathmat would have been nice to prevent the floor from getting too wet after showering.

Beautiful location directly on the lake with amazing view from the room. Beautiful lush garden. Tranquil. Short walking distances to both San Juan and San Pedro.
The breakfast could improve a little bit, otherwise I had a great stay.

Front porch overlooking the lake - beautiful view.
Nice breakfast menu.
Very quiet, but an easy walk to the bustle San Juan La Laguna.
I’m an early riser, so would have liked coffee to be available a bit earlier than the start of breakfast service.

The view was perfect. Breakfast was really good. The location was perfect.
We tried to have dinner at the restaurant and they only were offering sandwiches. No one was around during checkout.

Everything: location, staff, food, room, tours
They were repairing the stairs in the entrance. Was a bit difficult to get in
8.0
Great location in between San Juan and San Pedro, best of both worlds. View of the lake was incredible and lush to sit in the restaurant and take in the vista.
Room lighting was poor and the room smelt slightly damp at times, though not enough to be a problem and probably due to the hotel being built into the side of the mountain.

Fantastic location to spend some quiet days. They have kayaks available, a beautiful garden, avocado trees, you can bird watch, sauna, jacuzzi and you spot the Indian nose from your room. Breakfast was delicious and the view simply outstanding!
7.0
it a nice property overlooking the lake if they give you a lake front room.
it’s very remote hotel, very hard to excess it.

It’s a great spot for watching birds, so many birds in the garden! Absolutely recommend enjoying the hot tub (175 quetzales) and booking massages (200 quetzales) here.
the room was a bit moist and the beach was a bit dirty (plastic in the lake water)
