My kids like the zoo theme and ranked the hotel as the best during our stay. The staff is very helpful - (1) we left a book in the room. The staff has kindly kept the book at the frontdesk for us to collect a week after. (2) we didn’t know how the public car park operates . The staff came out to the car park to help us sort things out . (3) we are non Japanese speakers . We both use translation apps to communicate , which turns out to be very effective . I stayed at 4 hotels during the trip . Gold Stay is the only one that has USB facilities , which are very useful for electronic device charging.

The location seems not to be kids appropriate .

The staff were hugely helpful and booked cabs for our group so that we could easily make a morning flight. It’s rare to find a room that comfortably fits a family of five. This room was great and came with nice amenities and a kitchenette as well.

The location wasn’t ideal for our family trip - it seems to be in a pretty party-oriented part of town. But as a place to stay short term as we moved between destinations, the hotel itself was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay here and wish it had been for longer! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our children loved the Asian theme with all the stuffed animals. The beds were very comfortable and I was surprised that the bunk beds were double sized too. All 4 of us agree it was our favourite hotel during our Japan holiday.

Mainly I loved this hotel. If I'm going to visit Nagoya again, then I would stay here again for sure. It was quite close to the station and walking distance from many stores such as Parco, etc. Also, we didn't need to key to enter the room. Only password.

The only two things I didn't like were it was too dry in the room and the neighborhood.

The staff were very accomodating and kind. The rooms are big and can easily fit 6 people.

It is situated in a neighborhood with clubs and bars.

Was in a louder night life neighbourhood especially on the weekends.

Very big room which is great for families with kids. In-room facilities were great too - toaster, electric stove, massive bathroom. Has coin laundry but only 3 so sometimes need to wait as it gets full.

It is very close to clubs so if your stay happened to be on a Friday/ weekend, you will hear loud music till 3am in the morning.

We could hear people shouting and screaming throughout the night. We understand that this is out of the hotel's control and that the hotel has implemented additional security measures.

The staff was very friendly. We booked the bunk with queen bed and the room was very spacious for our family of 4. It had room to tuck away our 4 large luggage, and the sofa dining area was great to have. The hotel was immaculate and loved it for our family. We would definitely book again.

Sometimes you could hear the other kids jumping and running from upstairs, but that is with many hotels especially family ones. I can’t blame them there.
