The Atmosphere, the way you were greeted when you walked in, everyone was so nice! Me and my wife loved it soo much that we will be back next year!

Only 1 outlet by nightstand for two queen beds. we needed two more for 2 cpap machines. Also one teeny tiny trash can for whole room. No trash can in bathroom. Hallways are too dark.

We ate breakfast 1 of our 3 mornings there. It was okay. Other Asheville restaurant options offered much better food choices and atmosphere. Sunny Pointe was our favorite breakfast place in Asheville. If one is looking for typical non-vegetarian breakfasts, this place can likely meet your expectations.

Food: We needed dairy/beef/pork free options and the restaurant here disappointed. Even their breakfast grits showed up with cheese in it without warning. Service: For the boutique hotel prices, we expected elevated service. Did NOT experience that. Ex: when I booked this hotel, I had emailed the property that we were celebrating our 27th anniv. so wanted to prearrange something special if available. I was told that they would have a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room. I thought, oh how lovely! Never happened. On Thurs night i placed a reservation for 2 for dinner for Fri, our anniv nite, and asked for a quiet table etc. After bkfst, when we tried to cancel our dinner reservation, they had no record of it! At check in, I asked the attendant if they could help us confirm our Spa appt for the next morning. Response was they have no way of checking so we were to do that ourselves. Wow. Very resourceful staff! At the very least, a customer service oriented person would have dialed the Spa and connected us to speak with them. And for the next 3 days, every time we walked by the check in desks, not once were we greeted by the front desk attendants sitting and staring into their computers, even with no customers. I even went out of my way to greet one by name, just to see if he picked up the clue on customer service. Didn't change their behavior the next time we walked across the lobby to our rooms.....across the street at a separate building! Yes, you read correctly. Our 'special treatment' for our special occasion was being placed in a room in their extension across the street per the online rate we booked apparently. No staff to help you there. Yet at checkout they tried to bill us for the premium rates of $130/more per night! I had to insist that was wrong. GM agreed.

Everything was great! It was a little price but that is what is expected with a beautiful hotel and excellent service. The style was unique, which we both loved. We will be staying again.

The only thing was the toilet door was transparent. My wife and I love each other tremendously! But there are times that we want privacy and would suggest changing the glass door to the toilet.
