Exceptional

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Swimming pool is well maintained and clean. Breakfast was supper great and served in the restaurant in front of the poo. Would would highly recommend this hotel!!

Great location with friendly staff

It's a very nice place to stay, nice people with great smile, great location closed to Angkor Wat, environmental friendly with big pool in the middle. We really enjoyed our stay.

Good for relax

Overall is ok to stay. Staff need to be more firendly and more welcome during arrival because it is opened of individual vision as a very important impression. Thank you for everything was okay. I just had a cancelled my food ordered due to the last minute late of my departure. I hope this is just a small dot need to establish. Keep it up a good work next time together. 🙏

It is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere

Everything! The bedroom is amazing, the bathroom as well. The Pool absolutely awesome. The people at the hotel is was super nice all the time.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an amazing return for their money.

Once you went through the gates it was a haven with beautiful decor and relaxed atmosphere. The staff’s service was superb.

It was an absolute delight and I highly recommend the Grand Venus.

The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful; they were truly wonderful. Led by Lucky and Thomas, they could not have been better! The hotel is quiet and very close to Angkor Wat. You don't have to go into town to have a great meal, either.

The distance from town is both an advantage and a drawback; you don't have to worry about traffic noise, but on the other hand there aren't stores or ATMs close by, so you have to go into Siem Reap by car or tuktuk for things like that.

We had a great time at the hotel.

The staff is very friendly and helpful; a quiet place with a very kid-friendly swimming pool. The room is clean and comfortable.

A bit dark with the outside light broken in front of both rooms we were staying. The lights inside both rooms were not working well either.

Convenient.

Quiet, clean and comfortable.

The reception area is warm as they didn’t turn the airconditioner on knowing there are guests staying there.

The best hotel

Cosy and cute oasis in Siem Reap. So nice and comfortable! Very high professional team of the hotel! Administration and tasty food, also tasty cocktails! Thank you for help us in any question !!! Also very nice and big room! We are planning to stay about 1 nights but stay more 3 days!

- Amazing having a pool literally outside your door. - I hadn't realised the layout of the conplex wasn't a traditional hotel style- the majority of rooms were individual rooms that opened out onto the pool area - Staff were very friendly and accommodating

- Had a TV in room but it wasn't receiving any channels so was a but pointless. Was informed I could be lent a HDMI cable if needed, but I didn't have my laptop so couldn't connect anything. Bit of a shame.

perfect stay for some days in Siem reap

super Friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. pretty good location if you want to explore the temple complex and stay out of the busy and pretty noise Town Centre. easy to get around with grab non the less.

IT'S A NOOOO!

+Spacious room +The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful, speaking very well english but...

-You wouldn't expect a 5 star hotel to sit on a potholed dirt road, with tarmac nearly everywhere else. When it rains and you are on a tuk tuk you are actually worried about your physical health. -The location is too remote, so you have to pay every time you want to visit the town and get back (my mistake, but still). I do not recommend coming back to the hotel by foot, especially after dark. However, it is close to Angkor (but if you arrange a tour, which I totally recommend but with someone experienced, they come and get you, so you don't care if it is close or not). -The cleanliness standards could have been higher with dirty stained cushions on reception sofa and on room sofa. -If you don't hang out your clean up room sign it doesn't get done. -The room is not dry enough. There are geckos, spiders and mosquitoes. We brought mosquito repellents from my country to be sure, but still! One night after returning from a tiring day trip to Angkor, a gecko was in our bathroom smilling at me. We called the reception and the super girl doing almost everything there came and managed to get it out of our room, without killing it, which is for bravo, as they are harmeless, but still; I do not want it into my room!! -There is also construction problem - you can hear your neighbours very loud and clear. -The water has no pressure and it was not hot at all! Best case it was lukewarm. -As we were next to the pool children swimming there were very noisy. So, why to be next to the pool? What is the advantage? -We couldn't enjoy our private patio, as there were millions of geckos around, not to mention the mosquitoes!! -At night after an all day long rain FROGS were making a terrible and deep noise during all night! All these together made our stay there somehow surreal... Not really a 5 star service, extremely disappointed about our stay, as we were expecting to chill and have some vacation.

Grand Venus La residence Do Not Believe the Fake Reviews. Horrible management on purpose to save them money but charge customer. There is NO HOT WATER. They’ll blame it on the rain! Yah! They just don’t want to pay for turning up the thermostat. There is NO TV but they say there is tv! They don’t want to pay the cable bill. They’ll say we are changing our cable company. Yah right! My first room had sewer gases coming up into the bathroom and room when it rained. The lock on the inside of room/door did not work. The phone to call reception did not work. The toilet backed up. The wifi sucks in rooms if your just a few rooms from the lobby so no tv and can’t stream on your devices! The lobby is NOT AIRCONDITIINED. They have it but won’t turn it on. They have ceiling fans but keep them off. They are great at playing dumb. Their tuk tuk driver speak no English yet they’ll charge you way more than the going rate $37, you’ll loose them when touring temples or get drenched by rain head to feet. Yah! AVOID THIS PLACE. IM FILING A VISA BANK CLAIM. My bank and visa will look at my numerous emails I sent regarding matters not dealt with and I will get every penny back. Document and you too can if you had the same or diff bad experience. They must learn. Hotels have to have hot water, doors that lock, telephones that work, tv when they say they have tv. Wifi that works. Oh and I ordered a meal that came with coffee. Didn’t get my coffee. It’s endless. And after not responding to my emails repeatedly I told them I’m filing a claim and they responded, saying we tried to help but you didn’t allow us. Luckily I email and keep records so this claim is a slam dunk! BTW the owner lives in a huge house next door, he is a police and very wealthy per the locals and he’s not paying for heating water, tv cable etc to make money and cheat the traveler.

No hot water in shower. Zero No Tv as stated. They are saving money by turning the water thermostats super low and not paying for cable. Read what I wrote above Nothing in the room worked. And when I tried to get them to fix the situation they ignored my emails
