Beautiful property, but logistics bungled.

It was extremely easy to walk to all of the Christmas festivities, shopping and restaurants. The rooms were beautiful as was the common areas, such as the Lobby and the porches.

We booked this weekend after receiving a special offer email for Christmas with caroling, sleigh rides and special dinner. we booked it (non-refundable) and then found the sleigh rides and dinner were sold out.

Nice experience but definitely not a good value - especially for early December.

I enjoyed our two night stay, but at a cost of over $1,200 for just two nights. That is substantially more than I have paid for hotels in the US or Europe in the past year. For that amount of money, I expect a large room with a view, not a small room on the side with minimal view, and only one comfortable chair in which to read when there are two people in the room, and no side table on which to put a glass or book while reading. Similarly, the food in the restaurant was good, but when a breakfast of toast, eggs, sausage, and potatoes starts at $24.00 before tip and taxes, a meal just as good at any diner for less than half the price, is not a good value. And a dish of ice ream for $16 - before tip and taxes - I felt insulted.n

Very cozy, beautiful, quiet place

Very friendly staff, clean room with very comfortable beds, heated pool, fire pits near the pool, free bikes. Just a beautiful place all together.

Price is a little too high. Breakfast ends at 10:30am on Sunday and then they close the restaurant until dinner. Lunch available only at the pool bar.

Never stay there

I have never been there because my airplane engine fail during the flight just departing from Lancaster, I safely returned back but was unable to fly again, it took 5 days to resolve the issue with the engine. The hotel customer service person was very rude, she didn't care I almost got killed in the airplane, and she didn't want to refund the $1,200

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We used the bikes every day. The grounds are gorgeous

We had a few nights to get away and this was close but what a spectacular place! Felt like a treat!

We ate ONLY dinner at this property.

When my wife selected this room, we THOUGHT it included a view of the harbor. When I called the front desk I was informed the View IS available but, we would have to give up the room PLUS pay a higher nightly charge!

A Weekend of of Fun and Relaxation

From the moment you arrive on the property, the service is intentional and personalized. We enjoyed the ambiance and the culinary delights of the hotel restaurant, "Bettini". The breathtaking and relaxing views from the Oceanfront and Harbor view rooms have a restorative and recharging vibe. The Harborview Hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is walking or biking distance of local art galleries, boutiques, the light house, beaches and other wonderful restaurants. Our first visit, but not the last.

The downside was that we only planned a weekend getaway. My husband and I agree, that our next trip will be for a longer period.

Everything is fine but the no elevator is a big disappointment considering the price we are paying. For our ages of 65, it might be a reason we would think twice before booking this hotel

Spectacular!

Amazing blueberry pancakes and stuffed French toast. Liked that almond milk was offered at the coffee station. Endive, pistachio, olive oil vinaigrette salad was a first and definitely not the end. Will definitely become a favorite to prepare at home when cooking for family, friends and ourselves.

Insufficient electrical outlets not attached to night tables. That the robes and slippers weren't free. Needed another bar rack for hanging overnight cases in the bathroom. That's it.
