The Bed was like sleeping on a granit slab. My back and hip hurt. My partner couldn't sleep either. Stains on the comforter Found a dead bug in the bed (looked like a bedbug) No clear sinage of where to drop off Lady at the desk verbally out loud said our room number, which from my understanding is illegal in England.

Housekeeping was very slow! We arrived early and although we didn’t expect our room to be ready the receptionist informed housekeeping we had arrived. There was no effort made to get the room ready - and they even went over the check in time ! Breakfast not great - couldn’t chew the bacon.

One night at Hilton hotel. We always stay here as in my opinion is the best hotel near the airport.

Proximity to the airport. Room well equipped and it excellent condition. Very clean and tidy. Toiletries and towels very good. Staff efficient and friendly.

Had trouble initially getting to the location, but easy once I got closer.

Room was fine, breakfast was great.

The bed was a bit low. the parking charges at car park 1 was too expensive. Even with 50% discount, It cost me over £130.

Menu was the same as when I stayed 2 years ago

Das Zimmer war sehr groß, gegenüber dem Flughafen, jedoch so gut schallgedämpft daß man fast nichts gehört hat. Sehr gutes vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet, Abendessen im Lokal war ebenfalls sehr gut. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder zum Besuch der NEC Messe ist dieses Hotel ideal.

Leider sind im Hotel keine Hunde erlaubt (wir waren zur Besuch auf der CRUFTS). Für uns war das in Ordnung.

Our air con didn’t work on cool setting and the windows didn’t open so it got a bit stuffy in the morning.

When it rains, sleep is disturbed. The outside window ledges are metal. When a raindrop hits it sounds like a drumbeat. I am a heavy sleeper and was woken. A poor nights sleep. Will not choose again.

Shower hose was twisted shower was going onto the wall but not me so poor shower the beds were harder than the last time we stayed mattress topper none exsited to hard air con unit did not cool down the room enough and bright green light glowing over the bed near the air con controller had to stick a plaster over it to get some sleep whole stay well below standard .

Plus the remote control for tv had no back on to hold the batteries in so they kept falling out .

The room was lovely and the bathroom outstanding. The sound proofing was amazing and the room was so quiet considering that we were at the airport. The breakfast was tasty and a great variety.

Only that I found the beds very hard. More selection of teas/coffee and milk could be provided as although I'm sure we could have asked for more at reception some people are shy and would rather not.

There were two or three interruptions of electricity in my room, not long enough to inform the staff, but a bit confusing.

Friendly staff, perfect location a few minutes walk from the airport for an early departure and late return. Good evening meal too.

Only the pillows could have been better - rather thin and lumpy!

Great location for NEC, handy shuttle to Birmingham International Airport. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good size room & sofa bed for our daughter. Good restaurant & service in it.

Our bed was a queen so a bit small for both of us. Didn’t realize pillows were feather - I have allergy so tricky 1st night! Pretty expensive, but we were going to Crufts so I suppose it’s understandable.

Location was excellent, food was good and room was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. I liked that there was a cover over the peep hole in the door and the extra security of the bar you could open out over the door. As I was travelling with my daughter I felt safe in the room

We had a problem with payment being taken from the card used at the time of booking and not the payment card used at check-in as requested. Also one night our dinner order was not put through and when we asked about it it was then done. I would have expected there to be a hairdryer in the room.

Loved the location fit in with my plans perfectly. Waiting Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Bathroom fan didn’t work. No toilet brush in the bathroom. Not enough towels. Bed mattress was like an ironing board. Duvet was thin, No extra blankets.

Stayed 1 night. Location perfect for an early check-in

Location is excellent, only a few minutes' walk from airport terminals and car rental.

Staff attitude, too functional and not hospitable. Breakfast buffet needs upgrading, very tired. Our tv was not working on arrival and we eventually realised the aerial had been disconnected, no one had checked this before we arrived. Sofabed in room, very uncomfortable to sit on. Seat cushions loose.

Our waitress at dinner, Kennedy, was a delight and a credit to Hilton. She was happy, friendly, attentive and efficient.

Reception felt a little "clinical", efficient but not particularly welcoming. The bar was poor, inexperienced staff, serving rather than welcoming, no draft bitter or guiness.
