Great location and reception staff But the cleaning staff did not do their job well at all!!

The location and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was my 4th stay at the Marion and have always had a good experience. I was Very disappointed this time. Our room was serviced well but our friends was not. After several Comments and complaints to the front desk about dirty floors and no soaps , shampoos or lotions in the bathroom these things were Not taken care of. We caught up with the service staff directly and told them and after that the shower dispensers were still empty.

Enjoyable stay

The room was comfortable and clean and close to downtown.

Our room was directly next to check in so no outdoor seating as the other rooms had. There was work going on outside our bathroom window so a bit noisy.

CONVENIENT LOCATION, NICE PLACE TO STAY

Great location, minutes away from the historic downtown (by walk). Parking in the facilities (to be considered when visiting St. Augustine). Remodeled motel with all the necessary amenities, really convenient.

Everything was great on our end.

Great location, friendly staff, and a clean room for a good price.

Great location! Easily walk to old town. Conveniently right next to trolley tours. Free parking is a huge plus also. Staff was friendly and super helpful with any questions

Our only complaint was how uncomfortable the bed was. Like sleeping on a carpeted concrete floor.

We arrived early so we were given a parking tag so we could leave our car and enjoy the city until our room was ready.

The location is perfect and the staff are very nice, and parking is free.

Excellent location and they don’t charge you for car parking. Staff was friendly.

My room location. I was given a room next to steps with boxes of air conditioners and refrigerators. I feel that I was given that room because we were just staying one night. However, I always felt that if you want me to return to your hotel, you should try to impress me so I would want to return and that I would tell my friends about your hotel. Also, air conditioner was a wall unit that ran constantly. Even after we turned the temperature setting up.

It was decent. I’d probably stay here again if I had to.

Location was good.

Housekeeper left my door opened and of course unlocked. No clean wash cloths left after the first day, they just took the dirty laundry and don’t leave clean.

Better Durning the week

The location by the water and near the end of the street so it was quieter than other places.

Very limited parking There was to go food from LongHorn Steak hs left in the fridge from the prior tentent...Yuk I have very short silver hair but kept finding hairballs of long black hair in the room and bathroom...yuk

Perfectly situated to explore historic district

Perfectly sited to explore st augustines historic district with free parking which is a huge bonus. Large ropm, spotlessly clean, quiet and friendly front of house staff

I would definitely come back.

Wonderful location at an affordable price.

The shower needs to have non-slip mat or peel and stick shower appliqués. The shower floor is very slippery when wet.

The location

The air conditioner is a window unit and is poorly located in the room. There is a wall between the air conditioner and the rest of the room. There wasn't any air flow from the air conditioner into the part of the room where the bed and television were.

Deserving of more praise

The cleanliness of the rooms. The convenience of walking to the attractions. But the thing I love the most was the clean pool and the free parking. Friendly staff. Ease of check out and check in. I had stayed in more expensive hotels in this location and I was charged for parking and the rooms were not as clean and the pool was always full of bugs and ridiculously small. So this hotel was excellent and it exceeded my speciations by a lot. Kudos all around

Terrific vacation location with renovated rooms needed!

Location is very desirable. One can walk to many locations. Therefore, you don't have to look for parking spaces or pay for extra parking. In the evening it was possible to sit outside one's room in casual seating and enjoy the evening water view.

One could easily slip in the shower; the floor needed a rubber mat in it or a pebble-like floor. Placement of the air-conditioning unit was poor. Toilet could be replaced with a taller unit. (People are taller these days!) Parking is a problem. Every night we had to fight for a spot. Most people parked in the lot and never moved their car during their entire stay.

Great location. Nice views. Conveniently located. Clean. Comfy beds. Would stay here again.

The location is right on the water in the historic district. You can see the marina. It's a block off of the old town shopping district. No need to move your car for dining, entertainment or shopping. You can walk to so many attractions. Rooms were nice. Very clean. Comfy beds.

Very expensive to visit St. Augustine.

St. Augustine is nothing more than over priced money trap. All the eatery's very over priced. I ate at the diner and the bill was $75.00. Are you kidding.

The stay was very over priced. $900.00 is a lot to shell out for a 3 night stay. Never going back to that place.

perfectly located smart motel, great for long weekend stay and visit of historic downtown

Location is perfect to visit historic downtown - won’t need to use the car at all. well kept and clean

I guess only minor irritation was that there weren’t enough car park spaces for all guests. I personally was never blocked in but can imagine it being a pain.

Overall, a great place to stay. Very friendly staff. Would definitely return.

The location is excellent and the free parking is a nice perk. The second story terrace looking out at the water is also a great feature.

The pillows were not the best.
