Quiet location in District 3 with excellent breakfast 👌

Quiet location back from busy street in District 3 (25-30 min walk to District 1), room was good size and clean, breakfast was excellent. Owners/staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Super Hotel für einen Städtetrip

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Zimmer haben eine sehr gute Grundausstattung und das Frühstück war für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Es wurden auch frische Eierspeisen angeboten.

Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb, man braucht etwa 20-30 Minuten zu Fuß zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten

Superruhig trotz zentraler Lage! Hotel befindet sich in einem hinterem Hof! Sehr herzliches und aufgeschlossenes Personal! Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und sehr lecker!

The best thing about this hotel is how nice the owners are. While the spoke very little English their smiles were welcom

I was very impressed with the buildings quality. The doors are solid stained wood with nice hardware and the stairs are granite, the plumbing fixtures are Kohler and the a/c cooled the room quickly. I loved the breakfast room just off the lobby. The property set’s back from the street where it’s quieter.

The safe was too small to hold my 13” laptop

Great hotel and value for money

The resident dog was super cute and friendly. The staff were warm and welcoming, and gave us a free room upgrade as the room we booked didn't have a vacancy. They did their best to help ensure that we had a comfortable stay. There was daily room cleaning and the complimentary breakfast was acceptable. Location of the hotel was excellent as it was near eateries and cafes. It was also situated away from the road and was quiet. The hotel was also about 10mins away from Ben Thanh market, being relatively accessible to the main shopping district. Would highly recommend staying here.

The air-con in the room leaked for most nights, but we put a towel under it and it was fine after. The hotel was probably run by a family where only the front counter lady spoke english, so one would need to exercise some patience in communication of your needs. We managed our communication with the service staff via google translate.

Nice location and great breakfast, staff English sub-par

Location was great and room was comfortable. Breakfast was a very well stocked buffet, with eggs and pho to order and spectacular coffee (for Vietnam). Recommended hotel.

Staff was kind, but their English was sub-par and kept saying "yes - yes" to anything we said. This difficulty to communicate created some issues with some travel plans around HCMC...first time and only time during our whole trip.

The AC made a weird sound at night and we asked to have a look but it didn't get solved... Some ants in the room.

Good value for money, spotlessly clean, good location.

Small hotel but very comfortable. I particularly enjoyed that everything in the room looked new and very looked after. It's a 20 minutes walk to the city centre and main attractions, for us wasn't a problem. Quite few restaurants around.

The reception seems to be well attended during the day, but at night time, if you arrive late or have to leave early in the morning, doesn't seem to be easy to have some help.

Clean, quiet, family-owned place in walking distance to several major attractions

Family-owned and the owners were very kind! Although they don't speak any English, they were willing to go back and forth with us using Google Translate to recommend restaurants, things to see, etc.!

Front desk is not always manned - somewhat difficult to get in touch with the owners/operators past ~8-9pm.

Nice & clean hotel

Good location. Family room is very nice & clean. It’s also quiet. Even though my room is next to elevator, i didn’t hear any noise. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was good.

Exceptional

Nice little hotel with wonderful staff and delicious breakfeast. It is very close to the War Remnants Museum but a good 20min walk to Notre Dame and D1. Would recommend.

A very nice little Hotel located close to the centre!

We had booked at another hotel but cancelled after the first night because it was loud and dirty so coming to this hotel was simply perfect. A really nice surprise! The room was big and quiet, the Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean, nice bathroom with a great shower. We are vegetarians and told the Hotel before arrival. the Breakfast Buffet had a good assortment of yummy vegetarian dishes. I think you would even find options as a vegan. We used their laundry service wich was convenient and cost 150.000/kg (2$). Just all in all really professional and nicely run little hotel. Will book again if I visit Vietnam again.

A comfortable and clean hotel

Some places say 2 star, other places 3 but anyway, a nice and comfortable place to stay. It was quiet, clean and had a very good shower and a nice breakfast. We found it a bit far to walk to many places, but if you download “Grab” app it is cheap and affordable to get transport anywhere quickly. Fridge in room and good air- con.

Our 3 bed room was quite a bit smaller than the advertised 30 m2. When we pointed it out to staff they where able and happy to upgrade us to a bigger room.

Quiet location, great breakfast

Hotel location is a bit further north west of District 1 so it was a 10 min walk back in the evening but much more quiet than in the center. Room was clean and big enough for us and our luggages. I must say the breakfast was delicious, this was purely a plus to our stay at Hoang Lan hotel : fresh fruits, pho, eggs and some bakery.

Good location. quiet because it’s back from the main road. breakfast is alright.

painters came to work in our room at 7pm and left a mess. front desk staff rude. couldn’t get second room key even though there was 2 of us staying.

Highly recommended this hotel when going to SGN. The place is close to the attraction, the rooms are clean, very accomodating staff (always smiling and even helped us to book our taxi back to the airport), and breakfast buffet was fantastic! Overall, We had an exceptional stay!

Quiet hotel

Good size room. Friendly owner. The hotel was situated behind a large apartment building so it was away from the busy street and the noise. Best shower. Great breakfast. The breakfast room was cozy and a perfect way to meet other travelers. Good location and there were lots of eating options nearby. Walking distance to most sites.
