Staff were very friendly and welcoming at the front desk. There were nice options for purchase for late night snacks (or during the day) as well as quick meals. Room service was fast and very polite! The bed was big and very comfortable!

Linens were dirty and had to request them to be changed. Staff ans management need to pay attention to the small details that can make or break a customers stay. Hotel definitely needs to be upgraded it is old and dated

Booked 2 rooms on booking.com, only 1 room available at check in. Even received a response to request for rooms side by side, yet still only got 1 room. Room wasn't ready until 5 pm even though check in was 3 pm. Checked pay at property, yet booking.com charged my credit card

Breakfast was good though I had to pay for it. I had a reasonable view and more space than I needed.

It would have been nice to have a bath rather than just a shower, and a kettle so I could boil water and have drinks the strength I like rather than just a coffee machine with limited choice of drinks. A proper mug would have been nice too, rather than just paper disposable ones.

Location was great, beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean.

The dirty socks in our room, under the sink. The door to the balcony was unlocked and when we opened the main door to our room the balcony door would swing open. The chain latch on the balcony door was also broken and missing the piece that was actually suppose to latch. We have 3 young children (7,5,2) and I thought this was a huge safety concern. We booked this hotel so our children could enjoy the water slides and pool. Both were out of order during our stay.

Lovely room layout. Plush comforter and pillows. Coffee, tea and fridge all good.

Towels could have been replenished/changed daily.

The location and the beds were amazing! Very friendly staff. Pet friendly. Convenient restaurant attached. WiFi worked well. Lots of parking. Very clean, love the shampoos and hand creams. Pool looked good, but was under maintenance when we went to use it. Great place to spend a few days.

The hidden fees. What is a sales and marketing fee? The clerk said it's a city tax but that's the city levy. That was disappointing. Two different fees on top of the room price per day. And of course the fees are taxed too. Breakfast could use a few more vegan options.

Absolutely nothing!

The spiders inside and outside my hotel room. The restaurant was horrible, the pool was out of order, the water slide hours were ridiculous (only open from 9 am - 1 pm on the weekend 😳), the Wifi (why do they even bother to offer wifi, are we in the stone ages???), the beds were not made, the garbages were not changed, the coffee wasn’t refreshed, the list goes on and on! I will never stay at this hotel again! it is the worst hotel in St. John’s! Never, ever stay here if you have a choice. Consider camping in a tent! That would be 110 times better!
