a water main leak next door shut water off for 2 of our 3 night stay. (understand not hotel fault) HOWEVER, nothing was communicated to us, no additional water was provided except 1 bottle at breakfast. can’t go to the store for ice? juice? water? was unable to cook in our room. chose this hotel for kitchen facilities. room not cleaned once during 3 night stay. is the standard lower in california?

The location is convenient too it daughter in Berkeley. Or water view was very pretty. The complimentary breakfast is helpful.

The rooms are in need of refreshing. All furnishing including curtains appear to be original from when we first visited in 2011. Don’t like carpeting near bathroom sink. Don’t know why we couldn’t get a king bed in our water view room. The “queen” bed felt like a double bed.

The facility was clean and he everything we needed. we would probably let go back and stay there again.

the parking lot was full of shattered glass from vehicles getting broken back into, saw a bum searching through the garbage can out in front of our patio. it did not feel safe. the carpet in the hall was worn and the hallways and rooms smelled really bad at check in.the bedding super out dated. the maids don’t come unless you call and even when we did call they still did not come one day!!

The staff was nice and accommodating, breakfasts/happy hour were good and had different selection of foods each day, view was nice, centrally located to where we needed to be. It was great for our large group (baseball team).

Bathroom smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. Cost was a little higher than value but it was a busy time due to baseball tournaments.

Breakfast was good. Staff was good. We liked the view from our room.

Hallway carpets were filthy. Bad smell in the hallways. Room Cleaning was mediocre.

the bed was horrible, I’ve stayed many times and this was by far the worst. I was on the ground floor and curtains didn’t meet in the middle and therefore I saw every light that went by and even got to see the flashing red and blue lights of someone getting a ticket.

My $800.00 private balcony view of the water was nonexistent! We had a view of a giant willow tree! It was chilly and we thought we would sit by the fire pits; nope they don't use them anymore. The second night we were locked out of our room by a key malfunction! 45 minutes of waiting for the front desk to help. So I really had nothing that I liked!!!

Everything! We spent the extra money because we thought we could see the water and the marina. Fire pits on a chilly night, only water offered at evening reception. The key malfunction after a long day was bad! This was reliving our first Naval duty station for our 50th anniversary ! I am usually very pleased with all Hilton properties. I don't know if I will even get my Hilton points? They had no clue what I was asking. That was an expensive 2 nights of sheer disappointment!
