Lugar perfecto para pasar un par de días en Granada

Los chicos de recepción son muy amables y atentos a cualquier consulta. La estética del hotel es hermosa

Auf jeden Fall eine gute Wahl!

Traumhaftes, großzügiges altes Gebäude, relaxte Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal, ruhig gelegen. Frühstück sehr lecker, gute Auswahl, z.T. Extrakosten. Kam leider nicht dazu, am Pool zu chillen … Granada ist einfach zu spannend. :) War 2 Nächte hier, hatte ein Balkonzimmer zum Innenhof mit schönem Blick nach draußen. Perfekt!

Un hotel bonito con personal amable

Me gustó mucho la amabilidad del personal, la arquitectura del hotel, los detalles y la mezcla entre lo tradicional y lo moderno, las mascotas del local, el buen trato a los animales, la comodidad de la habitación, el jardín interior, la tranquilidad y la ubicación.

Según las características, el baño ofrecía bañera, sin embargo este no disponía de ella, tampoco había agua caliente, no contaban con servicio de restaurante para almuerzo o cena, para el desayuno no dieron opciones en la preparación de los huevos. Pero en general estuvo bien.

Personal muy amable

El desayuno estuvo perfecto, cerca del centro, se puede llegar caminando a cualquier lado del centro, el personal sumamente amable, cualquier duda la contestaban sin problema, hasta para una conversación de un rato sin problemas.

Great Hotel. Ask staff for honest tour rates/recommendations

The staff went above and beyond to help my family. We made the mistake of booking a horse & carriage tour on our own, while walking through Plaza Independencia (the main square). We agreed on one price, $40. At the end of the tour, while dropping us off at the hotel, the tour guide demanded 3x the rate. Claiming overtime, park toll fees, and "special attractions visited". An argument ensued. The hotel staff jumped-into action, came outside to our rescue and exposed the scam. They knew the owner of the horse tour company, and called-out the true price. The moral of the story is, over the years, the main square has become a nasty tourist trap with a lot of aggressive vendors who target tourists (Which is NOT usual Nicaraguan culture). If you can avoid it, that is best. If you want a tour, simply ask the Hotel staff directly. They are very trustworthy. And will go the extra mile for their guest, which is representing true Nica culture!

The hotel is a bit out-of-the way. About 12-15 min walk to the main square. This can be a positive or a negative, depending on how you like to travel. It's in a safe neighborhood, so, the walk wasn't bothersome. As far as the rooms, we found a few mosquitos in the bathroom upon arrival. Lastly the AirCon (room 7) was basically non-functional. The other room we rented, had a new AirCon unit, which worked great. We were told they were planning to repair (or replace) the unit in room 7, so, hopefully that is done before the warm seasons begin.

Perfect stay in Granada for families

Beautiful colonial hotel ten minute walk from the centre of Granada, excellent clean and large rooms and the staff could not have been more helpful, they were just the best

My daughter and I will definitely stay here again if ever in Granada.

It was a very enjoyable stay. A Very comfortable bed, great aircon & fan. Good room lighting. Very Clean. The interior of hotel/lobby dining area is lovely.Location was quiet & a short walk to central Granada. Hotel was dog friendly and the friendly staff were so kind/courteous to our family dog.

Everything is good. The room, breakfast and pool. My family was very happy in this place. They don't have parking, however you can park the car across the hotel in the street. And they bring the security of the car will be fine.

Great place to stay.

It’s beautiful. Everything was great! Although it’s a little far from the center it was easy to drive around town and find parking or the taxis were cheap. The pool was refreshing after a hot day sightseeing.

This is our third stay at The Polvoda Hotel of Granada Nicaragua.

Start with the great free breakfast, the pool was very inviting and like the whole hotel clean,very clean. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The owner, Liam and his staff are all great people who will bend over backward to please you. I will recommend The Polvoda Hotel of Granada Nicaragua to all looking for a quite comfortable place to spend some time. Thank you Liam and your staff for making us feel at home.

I can not think of anything I didn't like.

Artistically designed, comfortable and high end experience at a fair price

Liam's eye to detail in architecture and details, well-trained & friendly staff (with a great cool / scented wash cloth and natural lemonade upon arrival), quiet fan and air-conditioner, and exquisite shower ... what more can one ask for? Its a boutique hotel in the truest sense of the word (unique, aesthetically pleasing, quality, comfortable) without an over-the-top price. Glad we stayed here

The breakfast was fine but didn't blow my socks off....early a.m. coffee though was a winner!
