Excellent airport hotel

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The shuttle bus to and from the airport was a big help. The rooms were clean and the ground were well kept. The food in the restaurant was nice and the breakfasts were very good.

Lawnmower starts at 7AM and loud construction from 9AM - 12PM

The property is nicely landscaped. Lots of green space. The food in the restaurant was good. If it wasn't for the smelly room, lawn mowing at 7:00 a.m. or extremely loud construction noise during my entire stay, I would have given a better rating.

The first room they put me in (#11) had a very bad septic odor. The room that they moved me to was ok. I chose to stay here the night before my flight because I wanted to get some rest and spend the morning in a peaceful and relaxing setting before my flight. They started mowing the lawn at 7AM so it was impossible to sleep in. Then, the heavy construction started directly below my room at 9AM and it didn't stop until my checkout at 12PM. Power tools, drilling, hammering. It was terrible.

Very relaxing stay close to the airport, very prompt shuttle in modern clean van. Room large and comfortable. Good breakfast. Pool. Highly recommended.

Delightful Oasis by the SJO airport

Delightful Oasis close to SJO airport... return visit and will come again. Helpful and friendly staff, from shuttle driver to and from the airport, to reception to kitchen team. Lovely gardens, setting and pool too; tasty food, both breakfast and dinners; and all so clean. Thank you

Very lovely hotel and very supportive staff. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice staff. Really helpful airport collection and drop off service. Very lovely grounds/garden and pool area. Restaurant was really nice and the food was very good.

The room was a little basic. Would have been great to have a safe and a fridge. However, everything else was lovely.

The Hotel Robledal was lovely little family run place to stay.

The property felt very welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere. The lobby, pool and dining area were well kept and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

I booked one night to be close to the airport before the flight out but not to close to avoid the noise. Unfortunately I couldn’t sleep a second, even with earplugs! It was so noisy and the room kept vibrating when the planes were crossing over.

A great hotel that is very convenient, comfortable, and friendly.

The hotel is close to the airport but has numerous birds on the grounds.

A bit less bare lawn and some more flowering shrubs in the back

Breakfast note below. The staff was helpful. They expected me for dinner even though I explained I’d already eaten, but we worked all out in a friendly and helpful way.

Take away early breakfast requested no bread. Was given a sandwich and banana. It rained so the bathroom stool had trouble flushing and created an odor.

We stayed here at the beginning and of our trip. The property is lovely and the staff is very professional. We enjoyed the nice pool after long travel days. The included breakfast was great. The staff went above and beyond for by washing a few items of clothing for us after our daughter was sick in the car, what a huge help! They also made us breakfast to go when we had an early flight to catch which was really helpful.

So much greenery. Tranquil environment. Friendly staff. The restaurant is good, get tiradito de pescado if they have it. Shuttle to and from the airport included. COVID test available on site, which is extremely convenient.

None. I was only there for one night and was more than satisfied with my experience.
