Dog friendly hotel in the heart of Harrogate

Great location, dog friendly restaurant and bar, dog friendly rooms, friendly and attentive staff.

High quality hotel . Would stay again

Lovely hotel. Excellent staff. Beautifully refurbished . We have stayed here twice before but this is the 1 st time since most recent refurbishment.

We were in room 133 and although the room was decent I was disappointed that the window was frosted and we were unable to even see what the weather was doing or even see any sky. As I was paying for 2 rooms because I took my sister and brother in law away as a thank you, I did ask for front of hotel facing rooms which they got and were very pleased with , so we felt a little peeved to have the back room with no outlook at all.

Bar and staff excellent- sleep quality not great room a bit shabby.

Location perfect Staff delightful

Shabby decor walls and shower area. Tv didn’t function correctly Pipes knocked loudly keeping us awake. Breakfast was not very nice. Ok for carnivores!

Appears to be going down hill

The bar area was great, and the hotel is in fab location for restaurants and bars.

We stayed in August 2023. However, on this stay the rooms appear to be a little tired already. The pillows were hard, the mattress was very uncomfortable, and only one bed light was working. The breakfast was a disaster, most of the food gone and was told to take away to my table and eat what I had got then come back to the buffet to get the rest of the cooked breakfast..

Centrally located and excellent staff

Can highly recommend and will definitely return. We loved the very central location. The friendly staff were super efficient. Food is very good. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and tasty and we also had a lovely evening meal. We were able to park on site but there was also parking available opposite the hotel if we hadn't found a space. Both charges are the same.

There was nothing to complain of but just to mention our cozy double room had a shower but no bath. Worth asking or paying the slightly higher price of the next grade room if a bath is important to you.

Very good

Location was excellent being near to the baths and pump room. Also close to the town and railway station.

Breakfast was good but could have been better e.g. eggs cooked fresh to guests choice, rolls as well as toast and croissants.

Great place, not cheap, need to sort their breakfast policy out. Stops far too early for a weekend

Lovely room, great location, fantastic bar

Breakfast Went for breakfast at 9.30 ( Sunday morning). Only a few sausage , 2 dried out eggs and probably about 30 beans. That was it. When I asked a member of staff if more was coming out, his reply was……we serve breakfast until 9.30. Everyone turned up at 9 so there’s nothing left! No apologies, nothing. Even though the menu says if you walk in off the street, breakfast is until 11.30am. So for an extra £25 me and my wife had cornflakes n toast. Who the hell stops breakfast at 9.30 on a Sunday morning?? Shame really because it’s a cracking place to stay. Unfortunately, feeling a bit ripped off, il find somewhere else

A fantastic hotel, with excellent staff in such a wonderful location.

Room was very clean.

Cold water stopped running on the first morning. However the excellent staff got the issue addressed and by the evening when we returned to the room it was fixed

Good but let down by ‘silly’ issues. A work in progress perhaps.

Lovely central hotel, gorgeous bar area

The location was great, very central for Harrogate, Staff were very helpful and check in was easy, we parked behind the hotel in the car park it is £10 per day but safe and secure. The bedroom was clean and modern with good storage facilities. The spectacular part is the bar and restaurant areas which are gorgeous especially as they had just put up the Christmas decorations.

It was ok.

Where it was situated.

Having to wait ages as my room key card wasn't programmed properly.i couldn't get into my room on the second day. I also found it a bit disconcerting that there were 2 steps into my room. I felt it could be quite dangerous opening the door straight on to steps.

Exceptional

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location to explore Harrogate. Our room was a great size and the breakfast was *chef's kiss* delicious! The staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We loved our stay at the Harrogate Inn.

I will never stay in the hotel

The breakfast was adequate, however there was lack.of communication from the staff

After staying in the hotel last year (as the St George Hotel), I expected similar quality and service. It started badly as the reception is now in the bar. The lift wasn't working , no phone in the rooms, bedroom so small, pillows were awful.

Beautiful hotel, great location. Bed was comfortable, additional heater in the room but needed the bathroom to be heated!

Very small room but to be honest, good enigh to sleep in. So cold though! Didn't even shower it was so cold! Moved the mirror off the wall so I was able to do my makeup,

the hotel was perfect for my short stay with an ideal location for visiting the Harrogate amenities

perfect location and room was well presented and clean

it was showing signs of wear in certain areas and the fraught beer was off, other difficultly was limited parking facilities although good information was supplied about alternatives
