Bed was comfortable and the room was good,

Add a microwave in each room and have breakfast live up to the Hilton name.

Exceptional

The staff at the Hyatt was AMAZING!!. JOSH was awesome and super helpful. We talked a lot, traded some recepies.him and the rest of the staff get a huge thumbs up from me.. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.

Disappointing

Breakfast was good, location was great

Floors were dirty, bed was so uncomfortable, nobody at front desk answered the phone when we tried to call multiple times, no vending machines, pool is tiny, overall dissatisfied worth our stay.

Not even close to worth the money

Central location and staff were nice.

Old worn-out furniture, poorly maintained, smells like a motel in lobby, hallways, and rooms.

Great location and price

I like the location close distance to the ball field and restaurants. The room was a great size especially for my family.

Not enough space for people to eat during breakfast hours. Our room wasn't as clean as I would like.

Fair breakfast. Amazing staff.

Bedroom smelling bad. Pillows smelling mold. Dirty curtains. The room DON'T HAVE any USB port. Messed tangled cables.

overall enjoyed the stay with little inconveniences.

convenient location, spacious room, friendly staffs.

1. there was no microwave in my room, i expected to use it as i was staying for 3 nights. 2. everywhere in google, booking.com, it clearly shows airport shuttle facility will be provided. however realized at last minute after calling the front desk, it was not the case. 3. shower head had super slow water flow in every setting.

Definitely will not be back!

No valet - had to pay to park in parking garage across the street - no shuttle as advertised due to staffing shortages. pool was in basement and not very inviting. no vending options except a few items they had behind a counter but staff didn’t have change to even break my $5 bill!!! ridiculous and definitely not worth the money!!

Very good

The location was great. The Des Moines Skywalk made everything in the downtown accessible and convenient, without having to brave the cold.

It was a bit pricier than we would have liked, but we were there for the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, so I wouldn't consider it excessive.

Cleanliness. The lady who was working was very nice and polite. I want to give her a big shout out. She took care of the TV that was working while I went to eat.

Not the first choice next time

Has a nice lobby. Rooms were decent. Staff was friendly.

Went down 30 minutes into breakfast and there was barely anything. Pool is on the smaller size. You also have to pay $18 for parking a night, not included in the room price.

the room we had was super spacious. Very clean. the staff was very friendly and truly cared about their visitors. My sugar had dropped and lady behind the desk took care of purchasing the items I got herself. These simple gestures go along ways in my book. The breakfast had a true “home cooked” feel to it as the food serving area was not in steamers and ice - but in nice cookware which I’m assuming instead of adding food to it- this allows them to keep the food fresher by switching the pans out completely. There’s access to the skywalk which was great as we were going to Wells Fargo.

The only thing that I could possibly say and it couldn’t be changed - the parking lot across the street was quite small - if you have a larger vehicle it is a pretty tight fit.

The room was very nice.

This is out of the hotel’s control, but the cars racing up and down the streets were terrible. The downtown hotels should band together and complain to the city!
