Clean, and big for Japanese standards. Also right on top of one of the train stations.

Not super close to the Shinjuku station.

Club lounge with view of Mt Fuji. Breakfast, tea and evening cocktail was fantastic. Short walk to Shinjuku.

The hotel was well sited to where our tours started from which is why we picked it.

The decor is dated and a bit tired but I understand a major renovation is taking place soon. They only provided one paper cup per person for hot drinks per day which I thought was a bit low rent for a Hyatt hotel.

Steps to get to the property, especially when you managing few luggages

Hotel is of high standards, consistent globally. It is in the heart of the government buildings so everything around is easy for tourist and there is a lot of non Japanese places like pizza/sizzler etc. best of all u can walk to Shinjuku bustling hub (mostly underground) in 15 minutes…so very convenient. Also chu park next door has Starbucks and it’s a very nice park just to get a break from the business. Also a very very handy mini supermarket (not 7/11) down the road where we got blueberries/cucumbers and snacks.

Depending on age of kids, might be a little tight with 2 kids older than 10. Sleeps 4 a bit too cosy.

Staff was fantastic. Check-in was efficient and welcoming. Thoughtful to inquire if both parties would like to stay on the same floor / adjacent rooms.

Would have appreciated knowing that this was the office side of Shinjuku in advance of the stay. A list of restaurants close by for easy access would have been fantastic for breakfast / lunch / dinner.

A 10-15 minute walk to Shibuya station and the main shops.

バスルームが古く、高級感が全く無かった。入口の対応も悪く、ロビーの清潔感も無かった。ハイアットの高級感が全く無かったので、お部屋は大丈夫かなと凄く心配になるくらいでした。

The location of the hotel is great if you would like to be central to the tourist attractions. It's a short walking distance to Shinjuku station and also there is Tochomae subway station only few hundred metres from the hotel. The rooms were quite spacious in comparison to most hotels in Tokyo. The view from the room was great and depending on which side/floor your room is located you can see Mt Fuji on a clear day. A 7-11 and a Family Mart just below the hotel made it very convenient.

We felt the room to be a bit dated.

Location is great, room is comfortable and the view was amazing - could see Mt Fuji from bed on a clear day!

Very small toiletries supplied - not enough for a single shower or bath. Rooms are a little dated - no usb ports for chargers/sockets next to the bed.

Amazing stay and helpful staff. Broke my luggage (unfortunate trip) and the hotel helped with throwing it after I’ve bought a new one. I had to travel to Hakone the next day and the hotel was willing to keep my luggage for one extra night even though I have checked out. Superb service from the concierge team.

Would love to have more room service options.

Great location, large rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Extremely convenient having the airport shuttle available.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Requested for late check out and able to grant us. Love the old style of the lifts!

Hotel is a bit dated. Rooms are not quite sound proof I could hear people talking and rolling their luggages outside my room. Quite expensive for the quality, no USB or plugs beside the bed.

Room was clean, room service had good standards, and fitness center is well kept.

Location: Except the train station, which isn't even that well connected, the location of the hotel is pretty poor (4/10 rating). Unless you plan to take taxis everywhere, this isn't the place to stay if you want to experience the true magnificence of Tokyo Transportation. I would highly recommend asakusa. After 9:00 PM- last order time, there aren't any good food options in walking distance. Staff: They had a policy to not inform guests about online food orders. They simply didn't want to talk the responsibility and we actually had to skip dinner that day. Options were wait in the lobby or miss it. Tourists in JP cannot get a SIM that has a working phone number. You can only get SIMs that give you access to internet. So it's a huge burden to know when the order will be there or if the resultant tries to call you. Staff were super difficult and did not accommodate our request. Never had this experience with Hyatt anywhere (We stayed at a ton around the globe)
