The hotel is situated right on the river Tyne, making the sights of Newcastle within walking distance. Checking in and out was very quick and convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The buffet breakfast was well stocked with ample choice.

The price of beer is overpriced in the bar. Parking is a bit limited and not free. It would have been nice for a 4-star hotel to have a gym.

Everything was lovely, from the staff to the room. Window looking over the water was lovely. Shower was nice and powerful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location. Breakfast superb. Cleanliness if the room.

Room 343 overlooked offices and, although windows are tinted, I felt that muslin at the windows would have been very useful to ensue privacy, without having to shut the curtains during the daylight. Also the is a gap at the bottom of the door of approximately 2 inches that let in the very bright light of the corridor. I had to block the light with my luggage.

Reception areas of hotel was lovely, good parking spaces and away from all the hustle and bustle

Rooms needs some TLC, did not match the high standards from the reception area, especially the bathroom

Items on the breakfast menu were not available. Cleaners everywhere but not clean on the floors in corridors or bathroom
