The carpet was a bit dirty we had a crawling child and his top of his feet were black

Staff were friendly and it was close location Breakfast was nice

- showers had mold in the grout in the shower and around the edge of the glass door etc - I paid extra for the romance package happy with the champagne very disappointed with the chocolates it was just a block of chocolate with popcorn and the popcorn wasn’t very nice as it was soft. - I was told their was a pool at the hotel only to find out it was out of use due to maintenance

The front staff could be a bit more friendly. Good customer service goes a long way. Some were nice some felt like I was bothering them. For example when you arrive, are you having a good day, not just you booking in and going through the formalities

I think once you have stayed and prove you are reliable you should not have to pay a bond 😊

The only thing I think could have improved our stay would be perhaps to have mugs instead of tiny coffee cups in the room.

The stay was lovely. The staff were more than willing to help. The view and rooms were great, as was the food.

My wife and I have stayed here many times - that would not happen if we had negative vibes about the place. Our only disappointment is that Covid finished the extensive buffet breakfast and I am told that will not return. Pity. It's now a-la-carte.

Not huge but the bathroom exhaust fan could do with a clean

loved the complimentary breakfast friendly staff , good parking , beds were clean and cpmy .

not having a supply of towels at the pool , but having to get them from reception seemed unnecessary , and they took my room number so I wondered if they were going to charge extra for the towel . one of the reasons for staying there was the photos of the dining areas had grand pianos and as I play myself was going to ask if you needed any piano playing , but they werent there .

The sliding door to our verandah, in room 120 was very difficult to open. Breakfast was delicious and a good choice View was lovely from the verandah

(Out of your control - I understand) but I wish Crusoe's and the bar next to it was open, as we always visit there when we stay =, have a pre-dinner cocktail in the bar, then enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant, its an extra special time for us. I'm sure next time we will enjoy it even more with the new renovations happening.

Very comfortable and clean. Great view room over lake. wonderful bed, large walk in shower, good towels, regular coffee & biscuit top ups. Perfect breakfasts .

location, room was good size with plenty of storage and restaurant was great

the mattress was too soft and fold out bed impossible to sleep on for our friend to stay with us one night. mattress on it was too thin.

good breakfast choices and lovely dining area. our room overlooked the lake and was great to watch the rowers each evening
