Fabulous Philly

Comfortable bed. Close to everything we wanted to see. Excellent customer service from all hotel staff and restaurant staff. Room was quiet and had a lovely private feel. Bathroom well appointed and good wardrobe space.

Room temperature too hot. Would have liked bath sheets instead of tiny towels. Would have like somewhere to set suitcases down to open them for length of stay.

Location, view, and room decor. Staff was nice.

Great hotel, friendly staff in the center of Philly.

Room was great, tall ceilings, and I got a room at end of hallways where it was quiet. Staff members were friendly from front desk to housekeeping to security. The lobby , bar and cafe were great addition.

It was confusing to enter after midnight, since the front door was closed, but I found it.

mediocre at best for the price. plenty of places to stay.

decent beds. decent location. interesting history.

no electric charging in 2022. crusty towels. running toilet. for the price per night with no breakfast (mediocre at best). no valet really. they call it valet but you have turn turn on a side street and pull in the garage vs literally the front of the hotel. shower doors on backwards.

Solides Hotel in top Lage

Die Lage des Loews ist sehr zentral. Toll um bei einem Stopover einen kurzen Einblick in die Stadt zu bekommen. Die Betten waren komfortabel und das Personal freundlich, professionell. Das Restaurant im Erdgeschoss haben wir nicht genutzt, war aber gut besucht. Die Getränke an der Bar waren standardmässig in Ordnung. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis würde ich als angemessen aber nicht günstig bezeichnen. Die Sauberkeit in dem Hotel war in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein solides Hotel mit normalen Standard. Hier macht man nichts falsch.

We will come back but hope for some updating in elevators sooner then later.

We enjoy the food and have made Lowe’s our go to Philadelphia hotel. Rooms a nice and clean sometime we don’t get the room requested but a big deal.

Key card didn’t open bathrooms in lobby so I had to be escorted each time. Elevators had issues and would stall. We also don’t understand why Lowe’s doesn’t have a loyalty program. We stay at them all over the world. It was also Valentine’s Day and you would think they might do something special in lobby or room something small for couples getting away

An excellent place to relax and enjoy Philadelphia.

We loved the room. The view was beautiful and the hotel is located close to some many attractions.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We would recommend to friends and family.

Experiencia sweet and sour

La caja fuerte integrada en el closet. La proximidad de tiendas y lugares de comida.

La zona está llena de personas sin hogar y algunas otras estaban vociferando a los transeúntes. De hecho, hubo uno chocando la frente con un poste de hierro del terminal del tren y en Macy's hubo un altercado con lesionados graves.

Great! Will stay again.

Awesome location and staff. We had an AC/ heat issue and they took care of it. It’s also close to the train station and Reading Terminal and Amtrak. We stayed there overnight for a concert at Wells Fargo Center we have stayed here previously and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you to all the staff!

Great and exceptional staff.

Staff was all polite. Our room keys were not working however, the security guard made sure to get it corrected. Also the parking staff were super friendly and professional.

Our room was closest to the elevators and the room door/entrance was not sound proof. Other patrons in the hotel woke up early on Friday morning arguing and yelling and we could hear all the noise from them and the passing guests.

Disappointed

Location is very near to conference venue at Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The staff who assisted with the check-in told me my credit card was declined. Said he will put a remark that I would be paying by cash upon check out. Upon checking out, I was attended to by a staff named “Key”. She told me 1) my credit card went through 2) no remark about cash payment. When I told her I would like to pay by cash nonetheless, she muttered something to her colleague, and looked visibly annoyed. I would not expect this kind of unprofessional behaviour from a hotel of this standard. I would also like a written explanation, why a full payment was expected from me, when Loews Hotel’s website stated that a deposit of USD100 only was required?

Great stay overall, I would recommend and stay again!

I enjoyed the delicious room service, kind staff, and clean room! The location was perfect particularly near reading terminal.

The hallway seemed a bit unclean. I was on the 16th floor.

My stay was lovely.

The location was very good. The cleaniness was on point and my room was very spacious. The staff were very friendly and professional. The entrace to the hotel was a little confusing, it appeared that I was walking into a restaurant. As I continued to walk I saw the check in counter. The room service was excellent, but the food needs a little help. The french toast and waffles did not have any flavor. The chocolate cake was extremely cold and dense and the cheese cake was flat. Those are the only points. Other than that, may stay was very good. I definitely would return to this hotel.

The entrance to the hotel and the food. As mentioned above the entrance was somewhat confusing, where it appeared that I was walking into a restaurant, which I was, because the hotel's restaurant is upon entering. The breakfast food and the desserts could use some assistance.
