Very comfortable. No hassle and easy to find from the train station.

Disappointing and mediocre

We booked a standard room looking forward to a bath, unfortunately we were put in a room with a disabled walk in shower, the bed dipped in the middle so myself and my partner kept rolling into each other, the pillows provided were poor. We didn’t receive a code to the car park so when we were buzzing in to retrieve some of our stuff after already checking in, we stood there for 15 minutes until my partner walked back to the building to ask them to buzz us in. The bar closed really early on the evening

Fantastic place to sleep and eat!

The room and bathroom were spacious, the staff were helpful and lovely and the breakfast was delicious.

We were a bit confused getting from the car park to the hotel entrance, a sign would have been helpful!

Could be so much better despite the ongoing works.

Had two elderly people with me so the close proximity to the train station was superb. Breakfast was very good. Staff were generally very good just the odd individual who doesn’t seem to want to do anything. They are going through very big renovation so i understand stuff is not going to be top.

However despite the renovations i paid good money all the same. Breakfast was good but for some reason clearing the table seems to come at a premium. You have to get there attention all the time. Two lifts for 8-10 floors, one not working for a few days so just the one for all floors. Don’t tell me to take the stairs, two elderly persons and a pushchair cannot use the stairs all the time it wasn’t working. The worst part was house keeping… again this seems to come at a premium. 2-3 occasions one bin was emptied (bathroom bin doesn’t exist) and one towel changed. Bed not made, cups not cleaned, coffee not replenished. Had to ask reception for these (simple) house keeping things to be done.

Average stay wouldn’t come back

The lobby was lovely and breakfast was grand

The room was freezing, and the night staff wasn’t nice told us to drink water out of the tap with no glasses and tried to lock us out the hotel

Great location, currently having work done in the hotel and outside but didn’t cause any issues in terms of noise to the property. Usually stay at Marriott hotels when. Possible and never fail to make the stay comfortable. Has a recently upgraded room which has lovely decor and it very modern and clean.

Upgraded room was not finished to a high standard, decor was not finished off to a high standard, no boarder around the basin of the shower. Dried pain on and around the wash basin (sink) in the bathroom, which had no hand soap to be able to wash your hands (luckily I always bring some away with me).

Room was not cleaned. Raised with staff at the time did not feel this was appropriately dealt with. Have emailed in to raise a complaint and been ignored. Not great customer service

Great stay and great value

Really big rooms which were very clean. Staff were very friendly and location was great for central Manchester.

Slightly annoying that it was under renovation but had no issues while staying.

Het personeel was top. Bij het ontbijt kregen we halal worst en werd er speciaal ei voor ons gemaakt. Het hotel is op 2 minuten lopen van het station. Er is thee en koffie op de kamer en genoeg baddoeken.

De douche was heerlijk alleen liep het water niet weg. De wc spoelde niet goed door je moest de knop meerder keren indrukken voordat je kon doorspoelen. Er waren werkzaamheden en wij mochten op de 2de dag ons ontbijt eten in de kamer. Toen we in de middag terugkwamen was de schoonmaker(ster) geweest maar onze borden lagen er nog.

Convenient all Manchester locations…

Very convenient for travel as next to train station and also convenient for o2 Apollo. Upgraded to junior suite as works remain ongoing

Some things not as directed due to ongoing works. Reception staff very helpful on arrival but not wearing a name badge (has visible tattoos on her hands)

There were 5 of us in our group and everyone of us will highly recommend this hotel

Great location, fantastic breakfast, so many choices with lovely coffee selections, comfy spacious bedrooms and exceptionally friendly staff both in reception and restaurant

The hotel is under renovation and that was not a problem other than no seating in foyer

Location close to train station

It's certainly not a 4 star hotel, very tired looking in all areas. It's undergoing some sort of renovation but is no way a 4 star currently and extremely overpriced.

Not a great stay

Bed was comfy Understanding Reception manager who refunded the parking cost.

Not worth the high price for one night stay Renovations currently being carried out, makeshift reception and access to bar is via mezzanine. Only one flat pillow per person, had to request more. Room overlooked student flats so could see people eating across from room and they could also see us. Fire alarm went off at 5:30 am , no apology from reception. Luke warm breakfast . Breakfast toaster only grilling one side only, had to put the bread through six times to get it toasted Extortionate price for one night parking. Shower gel dispenser did not work. Above points highlighted to reception who advised the Front of house manager would get in touch by email but nothing received so far.

Breakfast was great and location was really good

The rooms could be cleaner, the bathroom could have hair conditioner, ear buds and cotton pads. The heating system could also work, we were freezing in the cold, it was 2c outside and the heating wasn’t working. We froze all night

Location & afternoon tea. Food was delicious and staff were friendly

We had booked a spa day and the facilities were poor due to refurbishment. One of the saunas was out of action. The steam room was cold. The treatment rooms were cold. And the changing room was a former bedroom with insufficient lockers and one toilet and shower for 8 people to use

Looks old! Too much money for these surroundings. Access to restaurant was ridiculous! Get to the first floor and descend two sets of flights just to go and eat.

Lovely

The breakfast was the best part about it, nice size room, close to city, clean. Just perfect for what we needed. Susan in the restaurant made our day, she deserves all the blessings and a bonus.

Disappointing and definitely not 4 star.

Great location next to Piccadilly station

Had to change rooms twice. Rooms freezing and heating not working. Dirty glasses in room. Dirty beds. Only one pillow for each person. Very old and tired furniture. Wouldn’t stay again.

From the moment we entered the building the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and quiet
