Would recommend if you like peace and quiet

Reception had an airy feel to it Luxury and lot of money spent on the hotel Staff were very nice

The room we were put in was very nice inside but no view whatsoever They were constructed like cell blocks Obviously you can pay more for pool or beach view but quite expensive Called hideaway and that is what it is Really off the beaten track and 21 kms from ferry port

Disappointed, never come back.

Basically their facilities and breakfast.

The hotel isn't in good condition, a lot of leaves, spider web's, mold.. my bedroom was covered by webs and dust and some furniture was really dirty. I was bit by a spider, and I have a big hematoma on my back.

All Staff in this hotel was very helpful and polite , The staff call Aum she always their when you need help. Breakfast was good choices , room is clean everything was good 👍we stay their for two week feel like home.

The hotel was adequate but I would not return.

Location and the staff were nice.

The first night I slept only three hours due to the hard bed, which was so uncomfortable 😣 I was in pain and aching all over the following day. I requested a room change which was given. The gardens look like they are all dying. This hotel needs to present itself better and needs to employ a gardener to update the hedges and scrubs around the rooms. it does not look inviting.

nice quiet bay, great food menu with good prices, small gym, spacious room, nice pool, fantastic people - and: very good wifi, so you can sit on the beach and work remotely

Good Trip at Koh Chang

We went to stay at Mercure Koh Chang hotel for my holiday with some of my friend, we arrive here in the evening so we decide to have dinner in the hotel, trust me the food here is very good and reasonable price. The pool is big and the hotel is directly to the beach, have Starbuck Kiosk at the pool.

The location is at the south of the Island, so we spend half an hour to reach the hotel.

Perfect for families and couples!

I really liked the space of the room and that there was a private beach for the resort. The resort was a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. I felt really comfortable and safe and I liked that it was clean. Staff were so friendly and room service was good , some things were reasonably priced.

Not the resorts fault , but the location was far from most things such as 7/11 or other big convenience stores. Had to get a taxi to other beaches and it would be expensive travelling everyday as things weren't walking distance. The area had a very small town with a few small shops and places to eat but not much choices. The resort is also located far from the pier

Hard to think of many good things about this hotel. It has good beach access but that's about it.

This hotel is very poor. It is dirty, there are stains and tears on the upholstery and many people were ill during their stay here (including me). There was a big sign in the reception about ecoli so perhaps that was it. You get the sense that no one is really checking this meets basic standards of cleanliness. The windows, walls and pathways away from the main entrance are covered in smears.

lovely poolvilla with terrible airco

we had the poolvilla. Private pool and jacuzzi. Well worth it for a few days. But expensive. Beautiful room. Nice restaurants around the hotel.

The airco was terrible. Even on lowest still blowing directly in your face when you are in bed. The bed should be turned or airco changed. Also no remote.

it was a quiet location and would be very suitable for families. However a lot of things on the menu were not available…

probably because of Covid the hotel is short staffed and the pool closest to the beach is in good need of a cleaning

Long weekend

Like most places, this hotel is still recovering. They are advertising for staff, as is just about everywhere on the island. The room was lovely, staff lovely just need more of them. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Aircon in the room was very new and quiet.

The area near the beach could be better. The beach bar seemed to only have one barman who knew what he was doing. When he wasn't there it all went pear shaped. Took them 20 mins to open a beer. One couple waited an hour for cocktails, and then left. There were three large sack of rubbish next to the bar that didn't move for two days. And the shower was awful, either boiling hot or stone cold with no pressure. Which was a shame as everything else about the room was excellent.

Facilities could not be fully opened and time is limited (Fitness,Spa, Public Swimming pool) due to COVID 19 pandemic. However that is acceptable that this place is still recommended

Nice hotel with lovely views but they need to improve on their food and restaurant service.

The hotel is in a lovely location. Our room overlooked the pool and beach which was a great view. It was very quiet and peaceful.

The food wasn’t great and there was a lot not available, especially seafood. The service was poor and our meals would come out at different times. It was very slow and would take half an hour to get our drinks and then another half an hour to get our food and each dish came separately and one of us would finish eating before the next dish arrived.
