Cool hotel in the heart of West Hollywood. Booked a suite. Valet parking made life easy!

The room had everything you needed. Location was great. Staff were accomadating and friendly. We had a car and found it a close drive to every place we wanted to see and also close to the supermarket and cafes.

The carpet had a musty smell. Sofa bed not super comfy but didn't expect much and kids didn't complain. It was roomy enough for 2 kids though! Bedding was sufficient. Main bed was fine and would happily return. Very handy to have the kitchenette.

Stay here. It’s really great.

Highly recommend. Great for the money. Huge rooms, older style building but totally renovated and great. Staff were exceptional. Nothing was a problem. Very helpful with tips for restaurants etc. Great part of town. Will be back. Well done to the owner and staff.

Fabulous service, great location and comfortable rooms. Great pool and gym was convenient as well.

Great location, wonderful staff and exceptional service. Very safe area which was walking distance to convenient stores. Could not fault this hotel. Highly recommend to others traveling to LA. The complimentary wine from 5-6pm in the bistro area was an added bonus which we enjoyed.

The only recommendation I could make is to have a couple of chairs and a table set up on the balcony for use while sitting outside.

Nice suite. Poor food services.

Restaurant is not up to par with the rest of the property. Private party blocked use of the pool deck which is a big selling point of the property.

Péssimo custo-benefício. Localização indiferente.

Há alguns bares nas proximidades. Para quem gosta de Rock, dá para ir andando ao Rainbow, um bar ícone do Rock (Membros do Mötley Crüe, Poison e Guns N' Roses frequentavam o bar). Contratei o hotel ciente das regras, mas acho válido que levem em consideração antes de escolherem este hotel: O valor do estacionamento é U$60,00 (vi que há vários outros próximos que cobram U$ 10,00) O frigobar não gela e prioriza as bebidas vendidas por eles (que não podem ser movimentadas, caso contrário há cobrança).

Quarto escuro e com decoração extremamente escura e com carpetes com cheiro desagradável. O hotel é extremamente pequeno. A piscina é bem pequena (a foto engana). O frigobar não resfria o suficiente. A localização não fez diferença na estada em Los Angeles. Eu pesquisei bastante antes de escolher o Montrose, mas fiz uma péssima escolha: para quem aluga carro e usa o carro para se locomover (o carro é indispensável para isso em Los Angeles), a localização não faz tanta diferença, já que tudo fica relativamente perto. Percebi que há hotéis com estrutura muito mais ampla e moderna nos arredores. O hotel não fica em Beverly Hills, mas em West Hollywood.

Everything was good but just the pool is much much smaller than in pictures and they sell day pass to people outside of the hotel so it is hard to find a sunbed even when you are a hotel customer

Fabulous apartment style room in West Hollywood with super comfy bed & sofa! Immaculately clean! Quiet residential area but close to Sunset Strip attractions! Lovely friendly & helpful staff! Special mention for the woman who sorted my room when I checked in, can’t remember name sorry!

Good location but quite expensive

The room is spacious, the TV is enormous (nice!), overall well designed with a little balcony and a lounge area.

The pool was smaller than I thought and was quite busy with kids. It would also be nicer to have more selection of drinks at the pool bar, nice cocktails and beer on tap for instance. Also breakfast was not provided so it all ended up being an expensive stay.

Really good place to stay, was value for money and had everything you needed and then some.

It was great, relaxing stay.

Room was great, clean, large, safe. We had a fireplace and a balcony. Staff was super friendly, helped to open a car door, helped with heavy bags. As per location - 10 min to LACMA and 20 min to the Getty Center. Great for ppl with service animals.

It is a bit pricy, like most hotels in that area. I wish i could stay longer, i didn't had a chance to explore swimming pool and roof top.

Stylish hotel in a fantastic location!

Location was FANTASTIC - very central. Hotel was well kept with stylish decor. Staff was very kind and engaged. I would definitely stay again.

Not an amazing sound barrier on my room door, so I could hear fellow guests enjoying their way into the hotel at a very late hour. Not entirely unexpected in this neighborhood.

Disappointing service and rooms that smell

The location is fantastic, lovely area and very convenient for West Hollywood / Sunset Drive and Beverly Hills

- The room had a bad smell (from reading other reviews this is a common theme) - Construction noice (not provided in hotel details). From our balcony they we’re building new apartments approx 5-7m away, VERY noisy and no privacy due to the workmen being at the same height. When we asked the hotel why they wouldn’t inform customers in advance the response was, “it is not on our site so not our responsibility” - The construction also took away 80% of any view which we may have had, not that we could sit on the balcony as they didn’t provide balcony furniture (probably due to the construction)
