If you want a very serviceable value stay in a beautiful location, this is a great option.

Let's be honest - the main driving force for staying at a Motel 6 is the low cost. The rates here were half or less than many other hotels in the area. If I wanted a luxury stay, I would have to pay far more, and expect far more. Given that this is a bargain motel, I thought everything was just fine. The room was cleaned daily, towels, soap, and shampoo were replaced regularly, beds made, etc. The room was large enough, with a spacious bathroom (we were in an ADA room), a mini-fridge, TV with remote, etc. We did not use the pool or laundry, but they were available, and the location was a moderate, comfortable walk to downtown shops , restaurants, and beach. I will also mention here that the motel seemed to be understaffed, which led to some longer lines and wait times. However, this is the way things are in the US right now in all hospitality from hotels to restaurants, so I do not fault them for this. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and pleasant even though they were stressed out.

My only complaint (and it is worth noting since the main thing one does at a hotel is sleep), is that the beds were not extremely comfortable. They weren't terrible, but not like my bed at home. Also, for the lower price, you get full size instead of queen sized mattresses.

The room smelled like stale smoke. Noisy neighbors. Run down and not clean. There were burnt marks on the toilet seat.

The property has a great location! Walking distance to the beach and town

The beds were uncomfortable and the queen beds that i booked were actually full size! One of them was right next to the ac which made me feel like sleeping inside a refrigerator

I was disappointed with the facility and cleanliness.

I stay 4 days at the hotel. Bed sheets were not changed by the cleaning crews during my stay. We requested the room to be clean and have the bed sheets changed on Sat. They did not clean the room as requested. Trash was not thrown out, etc. Night front desk staff was just a young punk who does not know how to handle customer complaint and inquiry. He was very ignorant.

They should train staffs better to handle complaint and inquiry. Have more cleaning crews and ensure that room is clean and bed sheets are changed as required. Don't make guests sleep in the dirty sheets and dirty rooms.

Because I was only staying a Sunday evening, I got a good price of approx $89.

The price.. Free Wi-Fi.

No small fridge. Antiseptic odor. Someone’s car alarm going off at 1:38 am and lasting a full 3 minutes.

The property was clean and the price of the reservation was a good value.

The rooms reserved did not have a fridge or microwave, as shown in the images of the property acessible via the website. Also, there were no extra blankets available in the room. There were some guests who were smoking outside of their room, which was on a lower level, and the smoke was strong. The front desk was contacted to contact the guests who were smoking, but it took at least 40 minutes to address it.

A clean comfortable room was most welcome when stranded due to the storms

We were very happy to get a room under trying circumstances due to the major storm that night. I want to especially commend the guys working the front desk - they were so nice and patient while dealing with a lot of stressed out travelers. Also kudos to management in general for not gouging customers on price that night, which they easily could have done.
