Fine for a night on a road trip not a relaxed holiday

- no pet fee (dogs) - close to beach, we walked - easy access (freeway) and parking - friendly, very nice staff - park and playground next door - updated/renovated (some parts) - hot water in the morning for tea

- only semi clean, trash under bed, dirty „fresh“ towel - renovation is ongoing so partly very noisy during the day - renovation workers aren’t using adequate protective gear, trash/debris everywhere around work area, spray painting doors without ground cover so spraying plants - no blow dryer (but a telephone?!) in the room - not holding this against hotel but jackass guest with a tuned, very loud pickup truck coming and going throughout the night waking us up repeatedly and off leash dogs and dog poop not picked up

Ok juste pour une nuit d’étape

L’emplacement pour couper la route 1 en deux jusqu’à Los Angeles. Le personnel sympathique et arrangeant

Prix élevé pour très peu d’équipement. Uniquement un micro onde dans la chambre. Pas de frigo, pas de machine à café et même pas de petit produit d’accueil (gel douche..)

Hôtel bien situé près de la plage. Chambre moderne rénovée, mais assez petite

Mauvaise insonorisation! Et on a failli nous faire payer des taxes qui étaient déjà payé sur Booking! J’ai dû insister pour que la personne regarde mieux le contrat et finalement constate que Booking avait payé en deux fois…

It was pleasant and I would stay there again.

Bed was comfortable.

Key card had to be inserted 4-8 times before it would unlock the door.

Was told I’d would not get reimbursed for 1 night, disappointed

Police came in the middle of the night to arrest next door neighbors. Couldn’t sleep from stress the whole night.

I'd return. Nice, clean quiet Motel.

Clean, recently renovated room. Decent bed. Complimentary coffee and tea in the am. Good location, close to beach and fairly close to downtown and the Embarcadero to get food. Can hear the ocean in the early am. Fridge. Park & athletic fields behind the motel.

1 ply toilet tissue, no shampoo/conditioner in room (can buy at vending). Due to Covid restrictions, there is no housekeeping during your stay, but you can exchange towels and get other room supplies at the office.

It was ... Relaxing

I like that there's no deposit it dog fee. Keeps me a loyal motel 6 customer

I now have a permanent 'note ' in the system. So I constantly have to be told to be cleaner

Fun family’s trip

Very close to the beach the area was very beautiful and quiet

Room is very small the upstairs bedroom people were very loud as we could hear them when they were bringing in their luggage or walking around.. each night

excellent place to stay with family!

Great location about 10 minute walk to the beach, my family loved the hotel! had a pool and a we even made a barbecue with the grill the hotel has! Excellent customer service! 100% recommended to anyone especially with family. Will be back!!! Also very affordable prices too!

Great location, staff was responsive to our needs

Room very small and had to ask for refrigerator and shampoo. Toilet paper was the thinnest I have ever seen! Hate to complain about tp, but it was terrible!

my stay was great. Just wish I could. I got the room next to each other for my kids.

it’s right next to the beach and right next to everything

I asked to get two rooms next to each other and they would not do it. They kept telling me that they had people stay another night so they couldn’t do it but when I got to my room which was 113 112 was empty so I don’t see why they couldn’t give me room next to each other for me and my kids.

AMAZING HOTEL

Always love staying here! Not only excellent prices but also love the fact that my pets are welcome AND FREE!! Literally can't get any better then that!! The rooms are spotless and perfect for a small family. The staff is so freaking nice and welcoming so this will forever be my go to whenever I visit Morro Bay ❤️

Clean and plenty of room for our little family. Also a good location.

Beds were uncomfortable, shower was small. I know it's not the motels fault, but there was a couple next door to us that were fighting and we heard alot of banging and unsettling things. They ended up leaving which is why I didn't call anyone, but it kept us up until about 3 am.

never a motel 6 again.

nothing

bare bones, worst hotel I’ve ever stayed. no amenities. toilet paper was listed as an amenity. seriously? and it was so thin you could see through it. only one tiny bar of soap. no shampoo, lotion, blow dryer, not even any Kleenex. not even any pictures on the walls. boring place to spend an evening. never motel 6 again. expensive at $160. I’m in Pacific Grove now with tons of amenities and it’s only $149!

Do NOT recommend.

The location is great. Close to the beach, and just of Highway 1.

The room was dirty. Filthy floor, bathroom looked questionable there was a strong smell of bleach but nothing was clean so I'm not sure what it was used for. The beds seemed clean, but they were really uncomfortable. Springs were loud and pokey. The walls were paper thin and we heard EVERYTHING that was going on outside and in rooms next to us. There were NO facilities. The bathroom had couple of towels and toilet paper, but no soap or anything. in the bedroom there was a TV, a chair and a counter... no microwave, minifridge, no coffee or tea. Coffee was served in the reception in the AM and it was horrid, no milk or cream provided. For the price we paid for the room($160 per night) we expected at least the minimum amenities. Wouldn't stay again.
