Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room relatively clean.

Everything else was very disappointing. Super thin walls. You could hear the cars whizzing by way off in the distance. Whenever the person on the floor above moved around, you could hear the footsteps; you could hear a quarter dropped on the floor. Room was incredibly spartan. They don't even provide in-room toiletries; I had to go to the front desk to get shampoo and soap. Location was also disappointing. It's too far to walk to the main area of Santa Barbara. Nothing interesting in the area around the hotel. You need to drive to get anywhere you want to go. I will definitely never stay here again.

Stairs to your room, no tea/coffee maker in your room. No on-site laundry. Expensive for what you get.

We absolutely loved the location. It was so close to the beach, which was great. It's about a 30min walk to downtown, so we would do that in the evening to go for dinner and then get an Uber back that was only around $8.

It could be quite noisy at times. One night a couple nearby were clearly carrying on their party back in their room till the early hours.

No Microwave, Deluxe Queen had a full bed, no pool after dark, tiny “retro” 60’s size room, 1 plastic chair NO table or 2nd chair in room.

It was by the beach

My room was a quadruple and it was very small, they didn’t let me know that housekeeping was only offered before 10:00 the office was not sufficiently stocked with basic necessities.I’m disabled and I asked for a lower level room to which they didn’t have available. Very disappointing

The property is located a block back from the beach so a great location. It is clean, good towels.

It is over priced for what is on offer. The rooms are small. No toiletries or coffee making in the room (I see from other comments that they are available in the lobby). Lumpy pillows. The pool is very small. Wish I had read into others reviews more prior to booking because now I can see the valid comments. Feel I’ve overpaid and should have booked elsewhere.

The room is noisy. Sound insulation is 0 and you can hesr every word spoken and every footstep outside the room. Furthermore, there is a road and a railway just a few blocks away which you get to hear. Also, the trains blow their horns every time they pass. Thank goodness they quiet down for the night.

The view was exceptional! We opened our door and looked right at the beach while still in bed.

Front desk staff weren't too helpful. I asked for water to fill a bottle and they said they didn't have any. Also, no breakfast included and it is fairly pricey.

the staff was fantastic. friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. the owner was great saw we were in a bind and accommodated us with a bigger room. will be staying there when we visit again.
