Amazing view of the downtown Manhattan skyline, with a floor to ceiling window. The room was very modern, clean and with a stylish contemporary decoration and LED lighting. Very comfortable with a nice experience. The whole hotel seems modern and taken care of, with a great decoration. Chelsea also seems like a good neighborhood if you don't wanna stay in the touristy areas of midtown.

The restaurant was kinda expensive to have a breakfast in, even with the discount. And the hotel could have a free water refilling station. The room's table was very small to do anything on it, but the size of the room was also not so large.

The room was clean, bright, and cozy with a gorgeous shower. The staff was quick and efficient as there was a large crowd at check in. The food at Lula, the in house restaurant, was delicious and filling. The location was perfect as we were going to Coletta for vegan Italian food, and Miss Kim's for karaoke, all within walking distance. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Only issues were the slow elevator (but there are 43 floors) and I could feel the individual springs in the mattress. A mattress topper could take care of that. Also, the shower handle came off in my hand...but was just as easily put back.

The cleaning of the room was great! The location of the Hotel is good, there are many things nearby. I would like to visit you again in July.

We really missed shoehorns and an umbrella. We bought both - which was not easy - and left them in the room to see if the next guest would have a good time.

rooms were smaller than we are used to but I know that's because it's New York.

The room configuration with the loft bed over the king bed was perfect for our teenage son. It gave us all a little bit of privacy.

Nothing, it was all good. Chelsea is kind of far away from everything in NY but the area is quiet.

The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, clean, with many little perks to enjoy like water bottles daily, a $10 daily meal credit to be used at their restaurant, a 30 minute meditation at a local meditation center, & a workout at a local fitness center. The staff really go above & beyond to ensure that you’re having the most enjoyable stay and that did not go unnoticed. Great value, especially in NYC where I was seriously on the hunt for a room with a tub without paying an arm & a leg OR having to settle for an older hotel. Highly suggest upgrading to a room with a city view - worth it! Would absolutely stay again!

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Man kann es total leicht mit der Metro erreichen. Fußläufig sind mehrere Metrolinien und Sehenswürdigkeiten (z.B. das Flat Iron Building) erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war geräumig. Die Räumlichkeiten waren außerdem sehr sauber. Das Hotelpersonal war jederzeit ansprechbar und immer höflich und freundlich. Wir hatten das Zimmer ohne Blick auf die Stadt gebucht, aber unser Ausblick war trotzdem toll. Außerdem haben wir jeden Tag eine gratis Wasserflasche bekommen, das hat uns auch gefallen.

Etwas unüblich fanden wir das Waschbecken im Zimmer. Der Fahrstuhl hat auch häufiger länger gebraucht, da das Housekeeping denselben Luft nutzt. Das Frühstück im angrenzenden Hotelrestaurant war verhältnismäßig teuer.

The property is beautiful. It has a very boutique vibe and an excellent lobby bar and restaurant. The rooms are smartly decorated and laid out. Nyc hotels are notoriously small but they made good use of every square inch of the room. The views downtown are incredible. I highly recommend this hotel for the value and overall experience.

This is my second time here, but I'm deeply disappointed and will never return!!! The front desk staff was extremely rude during check-in, which made me feel unwelcome. I understand “we are in New York” but the level of rudeness was unacceptable, especially when contrasted with the friendly restaurant staff. Additionally, I noticed a decline in room cleanliness, and the noise from the AC was excessively loud. Due to the initial rudeness, I hesitated to share my concerns with the staff… just accepted the bad AC, which is ridiculous. Upon leaving the hotel, I checked out and left my bags there while I worked for an hour before leaving to the airport. Shockingly, it took them 17 minutes (seventeen!!!!!) to bring my bags, causing unnecessary worry and inconvenience as I had a car waiting outside. Overall, the experience was terrible.

The view was incredible. I made a sound that I haven't ever made before when I opened the curtains for the first time. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I needed an iron, and they brought one to my room in less than 5 minutes. Absolutely will stay at Motto again.

Booked connecting rooms - which was harder than I thought it would be to find in NYC. Perfect for our family of 5, daily room cleaning, friendly staff. Comfortable beds and lots of great amenities and thoughtful places for storage - especially for the smaller size rooms available in NYC.

The restaurant attached is - as expected - really overpriced but excellent quality. Good thing youre in a great location with lots of options!

Quarto bonito, apesar de pequeno (padrão NY), é muito bem montado aproveitando ao máximo os espaços. A academia é boa para treinos no período de viagens para não ficar parado (priorize treinos com halteres). Em relação a decoração tudo era muito bonito e nos agradou. O quarto com vista para a cidade no 22 andar tinha uma vista muito bonita, principalmente a noite

The location was pretty good for what we wanted to do. The room should have been comfortable but there were a few things that I really wasn't happy with.

The walls were paper thin. We were next to a couple who talked loudly and incessantly into the early hours of the morning on the first night. On the second night the other room was taken by a family with a baby. It's not their fault that the rooms have absolutely no sound insulation and the baby started crying before 6:00am. I didn't like the layout of the room and the toilet door was both broken and inadequate. Finally, although it's stated in the T&C's when you book with Booking.Com, there is a mandatory surcharge to cover Water and WiFi and a credit for use in the restaurant tipping the overall cost of the room into the poor value for money category. Water and WiFi costs should be baked into the cost of the room not disguised as a mandatory extra.

We were transferred/upgraded to another room on the 30th floor and had the most amazing view. Rooms were comfy and good size, slept super in the bed. Possibility of a great breakfast downstairs. The location is also spot on! Easy to walk to most places and subway just around the corner! There was a bar at the hotel and they had live music.

The first room we had had sliding doors which were not isolated so I could hear the conversation the person next door had on his phone and the answers he got. Some of the staff were just not “with it”. Heidi stood out though! Towels were changed every day. You’d think they could save the environment by replacing them less often.

Nice room

Very poorly trained front desk team. Two main issues. My sister left her wash bag behind in her room and when we called to retrieve it they were very evasive about whether it had been found and said we had to keep calling back - eventually they said it wasn’t found. Then we were double charged for our room and when I called to query the lady I spoke to kept repeating over and over that we hadn’t even though we could see two bank statement charges. When I asked a question she talked over me and when I asked why I wasn’t allowed to ask questions she said she refused to help me because I was the one being rude. Very bizarre - quite surprising from a hotel of this brand. Hope I get my double charge back!

The room was clean and the location was good

I didn’t like the fact that they placed a $400 deposit for “incidental” expenses. I’ve been to many similarity situated hotels or even higher end ones and had never been asked for a deposit. That was unexpected. But I guess that is just NYC. Also the mandatory urban fee of $34+ a day just to have access to “premium” WiFi and water is unnecessary. But again, that’s just NYC. Insulation could be better. Can hear my neighbor yelling at 4 am.

Location was ideal for exploring the city and sightseeing. Super clean and compact. The view from our room was breathtaking. We had messaged to say we were celebrating our anniversary whilst there and they gave us an amazing room on the top floor. Staff super friendly especially the bar staff. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Would have loved coffee facilities in the room and more storage for clothes other than that couldn’t fault it!

The cleaning crew (it was two ladies) they surveyed the lounge area, ignored trash that was left by other guests there. They saw it pointed it out, and made a comment only to walk away. Finally a few hours later another cleaner (a man) actually saw and picked it up.

Clean Comfortable bed

There were a lot of small annoying things. The AC was noisy (violent thermostat- either blowing full power or not at all, even when adjusted to low fan). You could hear all the doors opening and shutting from the hallway. I really didn’t like the menthol smell of the soap/shampoo/body lotion. Had to buy myself another one. The most annoying thing was the lights - they were automatic and you couldn’t cancel it. I had the light turning off when I was in the middle of showering or reading a book several times.

The bed was very comfortable, it was clean, stylish, and had everything I needed, including a restaurant in the bottom.

The lights were on an automatic timer and kept turning off, so I had to continue to get out of bed to keep them on which was inconvenient.

The first receptionist was nice. She was professional and polite. The room decor was nice, the lobby was nice but small. It was easy to check in and check out.

The second receptionist who did my final check-in didn't look me in the eye once. There was zero welcome, it was like talking to a wall. Most of the staff in reception were very unwelcoming and unbothered. They didn't ask any questions like, 'how was your stay' and are not a well-managed team. They don't want to work there, they don't want to provide any level of normal hotel service. There was only the exception of one person in reception who was doing her job. Room wise it looked nice but it was very loud with a constant drone sound and the aircon was also too loud. Very hard to sleep without ear plugs. Doors constantly slamming (due to design not customers) and the elevators took so long you need to take the stairs instead.

L insonorisation , on entends TOUT . Les portes , dehors , tout ils devraient mettre du double vitrage et une meilleure iso . Sinon le reste nickel . Un petit rooftop aurait été parfait !
