Nice staff. Parking was OK. We did not eat here. Close to shopping, small stores. Clean. Quaint heritage hotel.

Bed was a little soft, air conditioner ran all night and we could not turn it off. Small room. No tub. Baseboards needed repainting.

The TVs weren't hooked up. One had a missing cable so we could only watch the TV in the bedroom. The air conditioning was not working.

The location, right in town, is good

When we arrived we were told the wifi was down which meant not tv etc. No biggie. I had upgraded the room but the room we received was just the standard room. We were informed it was an oversight on Booking.com but we would receive a 15% discount.

I am concerned that I booked a room for three and there was only two beds that required another room that almost doubled my budget ( $232.00 for booked room and $168.00 for second). A couch or cot wood have been fine .

Very nice old fashion style hotel with loads of history. Like walking into the past, in early 1900’ Canada with a lovely entrance hall and original wood floors and detailing. Nice feel and comfortable beds. Good size room, central downtown location so very handy for shops, bars, banks etc. This hotel has an antique feel and really nice if you like that style.

Keypad entry with minimal staffing is fine unless the code doesn’t work on arrival, managed to get it sorted quite quickly for one of our group which it happened to by calling the help contact number. No breakfast options anymore, we knew that, but it would be nicer to have the option on site, rather than looking for a cafe in the morning.

We knew that this was an old hotel, and were not expecting modern elegance. We liked the way that the owners have kept the originality of the building. The rooms are small but have everything you need. The old pictures on the walls in the lobby and stairs were great. The hotel is in the old part of town, which we actually liked, with lots of interesting shops around. The restaurant on the lower floor (sushi) was very good, but does not serve breakfast. There is a great breakfast place about 2 blocks away.

Unfortunately our bed was not comfortable at all. Apparently the new owners have started changing these out, but our room had not yet been done. One of the staff was really helpful and gave us a quilt to put under the bed sheet, which helped somewhat. Also, our hallway was quite dim and we had difficulty seeing the keypad on our door.

Loved the view from the suite and its unique location in the heart of downtown. Very clean suite the staff are dedicated so thank you.
