Mouse droppings

The view

A good amount of mouse droppings under the pillows on the beds, blankets smell like body odor, black mold on the shower curtains, A tons of dust on the walls and ceiling around the AC unit, The edges and corners of the carpet looks like have not been vacuumed in a while . When I went down at the end of the night to talk to the front counter about the mouse feces there was a note on the door stating that the front counter was closed be back the next morning 8:00 a.m. so we left

Disgusting and stank

Everything... ocean front. I guess if you have 3 different hotels in a cluster, you can call all of them ocean front. I'm not sure.. Everything about this place was disgusting and uninviting, including the lady who checked us in. This place was a huge disappointment 😞 No balcony, not even windows with screens.. Film on the windows so you couldn't see out them. But we couldn't open them since there were no screens in them. The hallway walking to the room was disgusting. No elevator, which meant no luggage carts.. The room smelled like mildew. The beds were horrible, not comfortable at all & smelled dirty as well.

Filthy room

The room was very dirty,won't stay there again.i had to go get cleaning supplies and clean it myself. I told 1st person at the front desk they told me he would send someone that someone never came. And nothing was followed up on. So after 5pm I went back to the front desk and told that person. He said he would get the bellman.for the money they charge for weekends the place should be spotless but nope.dirty toilet,with hair floors filthy refrigerator dirty inside. Never again

The Sahara provided the comfort and convenience for a relaxing oceanfront stay!

The location is phenomenal!!! The Sahara Cafe had delicious and affordable meals, and the staff there was very friendly, efficient, and cheerful. I hope to return to the Sahara for a vacation 😊

Girls weekend

Close to beach, very friendly maintenance crew. Clean towels everyday with friendly smiles.

Pool water wasn't very clean. The bed mattresses are full size and not firm at all. The pillows are flat, so bring your own.

It was a nice vacation after all

The location. Right on the boardwalk & close to the beach.

Had to ask 3 times about air conditioner not working. Had ticket on door for more clean linnet from day one & never received.

Overal the stay at the motel was decent. Needs better cleaning in the rooms and the pool. A upgrade is needed as the bed

Will not stay here again due to the musky smell.

Location was great

The room smelled musky and they didn’t have any other rooms to move us too. Parking is ok for compact car but not trucks.

Second time being there. I will not come back. Sheets were not clean. One pillow smelled really bad. I doubt the sheets were changed.

It was a wonderful stay and I will always recommend this motel and come back to it!!

I stayed in the Tower Building in May and this time stayed in an oceanfront room. I do overall love the hotel and will be returning to it again at least twice next year. I had a third floor room which may not be ideal for some as there was no elevator, but it has a wonderful view and the room was comfortable. The balcony was a nice place to sit with my coffee in the morning and in the nighttime watching the waves.

I did not like that my key reset the day before my checkout and I had to go get it reactivated. Also, although I requested replenishing of items with a door hanger, it appeared my floor hadn’t been serviced. The room next to me had left their used towels outside and they were there all day and other rooms still had their replenishing hangers on their doors as well.

Great time again in 2022!

Rooms are always clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff is nice & accommodating. Great location, & the Sahara Cafe' is delicious. Love both pools!

Wish other bldgs had a vanity in bathroom like the Tower bldg. TV could have a better guide, either a menu on the TV itself, or a written one. Air conditioner was a bit musty; like mildewy... maybe filter needed to be changed. Stayed here many years...usually always pleased.

Love the proximity to the ocean, boardwalk, restaurants, it’s cleanliness and price.

Close to the beach and boardwalk with very affordable pricing. Rooms are clean and staff are very accommodating and helpful. We have been staying at the Sahara for more than 20 years and it’s consistently clean and affordable.

Exceptional

Ioved everything the beds were to small for adults though, I understand you pay for what you get, but it definitely should be upgraded just a bit, as everything besides the brand new gorgeous bathrooms, are not. We brought air mattresses to accommodate, we microbanned the whole room, took 3 cans, just to be safe as we know the "comforters" are not washed, and the vaccumes do not get everything. It absolutely helped with the cleanliness...no blame of the hotel or staff The turnover and how hotels work are understandable We loved the environment, the location, everything else about the place.

nice and quiet. very relaxing.

We didn't eat at the cafe this time, but we have eaten there in the past and it has always been excellent.

The beds were a little too soft for us. We both have bad backs and prefer firmer mattresses.
