The staff are awesome! I love them!

The rooms need update. The sheets does not feel clean. Get rid of the colored blankets. I didnt sleep well on the first night. The second and third night when we got moved to a different room, the bathroom window does not open so it can get steamy in the room. It can smell musty.

A lovely boutique hotel by the water

The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The view of the ocean from the room was so nice and it was only a short walk to get closer to the beach. The balcony was spacious and great to sit out and have coffee or drinks. The was a seating area down by stairs leading to the water. It was nice to sit there and watch the waves.

The shower was super small and reminded me of a public shower. It was dark and looked to have mold growing up top. The hotel is off a main road so we heard cars going back well into the night. On the other side of the room, we had the sliding glass door open to hear the ocean but it was often drowned out by traffic noise. There is a structure that was right in front of our room that appeared to have been gutted. It kind of ruined the view for us. Even people should be aware that access to the beach from the hotel means navigating a lot of stairs and then if the tide is not high, you may be able to walk over to a small area of the beach. To get to the larger beach area, you have to cross a rocky path or go up the street and through another access point.

My stay was perfection !

I definitely recommend this place !!! this property was absolutely amazing!!! the staff were so kind; they were very accommodating and friendly. The whole check-in and check-out process was done so smoothly. plus the room was perfection it was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was very clean and very spacious as well. PLUS the location is unbeatable. so close to the the shoppes, cafes, restaurants, and more importantly the beach was 5 mins away !!!

Exceptional

The location, bed and covers were very comfortable. Walking distance to town and back. Close to the ocean. The look of the building and rooms.

The lighting was a little deem for me but I am older so may be right for others.

Location, free parking, free wifi, coffee, tea.

Bed was too soft - sheets kept coming off the foam mattress. Suggest upgrading bed. Wish I got notification for wine tray upon check in. Missed out because I got a text too late.

I really liked my room, but the heater was not in a good location. It was a cold time of year when I was there.

Loved the landscaping/plantings. Has a lot of character and curb appeal. Breakfast room very nice. Would have liked to have something hot - even just a piece of toast!

isolated - not near shops or restaurants. My view was of construction.

Clean and quiet. Really nice stuff! We got upgraded to room with ocean view (I guess there were room available at that time), also we got complimentary wine

the location and hospitality were great. My stay would have been better however with heat and a working tv.

there was no heat, tv did not work, the shower was quirky, and the walls were very thin so you can hear every noise.

Super value and service

Bree at the front desk was warm and helpful! We were upgraded from standard queen rooms to ocean view rooms with balconies because they happened to be available -- what a fantastic treat that made the stay 100% more deluxe! Fantastic customer service.

Very nice and apparently reasonable small hotel/motel. Will stay here again!

Excellent staff. Close to the beach and easy access. Nice wine and cheese plate one evening. Breakfast served nicely. Easy walk to restaurants of choice. Great parking. Quiet; never heard anyone. Nice shower. Loved sitting outside and eating breakfast. Coffee machine choices were nice.

Shower could use a shelf for shampoo, etc. A softer soap could be helpful.

Parking is great. There is a stop for the free laguna bus nearby. Great beaches very close

A very lovely and cute hotel!

A very lovely and cute hotel! The staff is very friendly, location is also great, main beach is walkable. Beach towels etc are for rent at the reception. Rooms also spacious and clean. Enough parking space. The small breakfast is also perfect for a good start in the morning.

The beds were ok, didn't sleep to well, probably also because the pillows where thin which is good if you sleep on your stomach but not for side/back. Other thing is that if people from the upstairs room are on their balcony you can hear them really good, not great if you want to sleep. But all in all i would recommend this place, the vibe is great!

Fantastic 35th anniversary

The location beautiful with beautiful rooms we had ocean view with balcony . The staff was exceptional and I absolutely loved the free wine and couture board were an extra surprise. We have been coming to Laguna for years and now we have a fabulous new place to stay. Thank you for helping us spend our 36th anniversary in a very nice and the complimentary breakfast is very nice 👍

Tired room but close to main part of town.

Good location. Off beach a block. Lanai with chairs although overlooking alley on main floor.

Noisy rusty wall AC. Couldn’t resolve standing water in the shower. Maintenance came after 2 days and did not resolve. king room was small. No closet. Pretty worn out bathroom. Linens tired. No front desk at night.

absolutely lovely and surpasses expectations.

very clean and great attention to detail. we received wine and chocolate upon arrival, and their breakfast nook with a high end coffee/espresso machine was a plus. the staff is particularly friendly and attentive - very refreshing.

the walls are a bit thin so you can easily hear conversation next door.

Fantastic location with parking.

They said they would have breakfast items in the lobby but they never had any breakfast items. It was very weird. They didn’t have any beach buckets and shovels for our child to use.
