One to return to.

The room was comfortable with beautiful decor and everything you need for your stay provided. The view from the private balcony was breathtaking. The food was second to non, and the hosts were helpful and friendly.

There's nothing we could not like about Shipping Lanes. It was perfect for an affordable luxurious weekend away.

Would definitely stay again. Unusual to find somewhere as clean, neat and tidy.

Spotlessly clean. Comfortably surroundings. Friendly hosts. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and piping hot. Bedroom had a great view. It was bright, fresh and warm.

Comfortable stay in a fantastic location.

Location was excellent , right on the seafront - we had a room with a balcony which was perfect to take advantage of the view . Hosts were really friendly and served up a perfect homecooked breakfast . Everything in our room was super clean and towels were changed daily . They were also kind enough to let us check in a bit earlier which was great . Easy stroll to seafront pubs and restaurants , 10 mins at most . Would definately stay again .

My weekend trip to Morecambe

I had a most enjoyable stay at the Shipping Lanes Hotel. I had booked it through booking.com some time ago and got a very good deal. I only wish that I could have stayed longer. The owners made me feel very welcome. My single room was clean, with a small ensuite, and it overlooked a fabulous view of the sea, with the Lake District mountains in the distance. The breakfast was an excellent, tasty, full English, big enough to last well into the day. I fully recommend this hotel, and I would not hesitate to return there next time I visit.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

A great weekend and would definitely stay at this hotel next time I visit Morecambe

The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food. The bedroom was clean with plenty of drinks available and milk was provided for tea and coffee. I liked the idea that the rooms had names of shipping lanes rather than room numbers and from the hotel there are Fantastic views accross the bay towards the mountains of the lake district. The owners Trudi and Alan made me feel very welcome

I can not think of anything that could have made the stay better. The location is about 5 minutes walk from the center of Morecambe

Great hotel in great location.

Excellent location with great seafront view and, unusually for a single room, a good sized balcony. Couple running the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

The plumbing in the ensuite toilet was a little smelly at times but I do have a very sensitive nose.

Nice place for a family vacation

Location and very friendly staff. The owners are very welcoming, played with our little one and made us feel like family. Definitely recommend this place!

Homely Hotel with beautiful sea view

Lovely couple, very attentive & patient, breakfast cooked perfectly, room was a good size, beautiful sea view from balcony.

Table on balcony could do with re painting, as paint flaking off. Otherwise, can't complain, lovely hotel
