Good location, just needs more attention in small details.

I liked that they changed me of rooms without a problem and the beds were comfortable

I didn’t like the smell it smells humid, the fridge didn’t work, some of the lamps didn’t work, and they put a little amount of towels. The place in general looks not well taken care of, also no breakfast.

Hotel is extremely old, smells old. Felt like being in a mace once inside. It was a pain in the rear for the my family to navigate towards the room where we stayed. My toddler was bitten all over his intimate parts after the first night. Bed bugs my best bet. I can now confirm about the reviews and testimonies about this hotel. It was also over priced for the quality.

Overall it was good.. reasonable price and excellent location.

The property location was excellent. The rooms are very spacious and clean. It’s walking distance to the beach. You have restaurants near by.

It needs to be updated. When you walk in it smells old. It doesn’t have complementary breakfast and showers need to be remodeled. The windows need to be replaced or clean. It needs a lot of TLC in and out.

long walk to room, towels were very worn, hotel pool is small and water feature did not work. Hallway A/C do not work, the hotel is desperately in need of repairs, parking is terrible and not enough of it available. shower was cracked, fridge and coffee maker did not work, there was coffee in the lobby, the tv was small and hard to see from second bed, and did not offer free cable, you were required to stream from your own phone and internet was very sketchy

You get what you pay for.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The parking garage is a nice feature especially for someone riding a motorcycle like I was. The beds were also very comfortable.

The property is very dated and somewhat run down. It needs a complete remodel. Balconies would be a nice addition to rooms where it's possible. Also there are no amenities in the hotel itself.

it’s a good thing I was away at work all day and didn’t have to spend time here other than to sleep and shower.

One of the young male staff members at the front was very rude , he was showing no empathy towards the situation that was going on. Y’all need to hire better people to service good customer service it was absolutely disgusting .

The front desk staff didn’t even greet, the room was dirty, lap shades had mold spots, room stunk so bad like mold and urine, the window seals are cracked with paint chipping off, there was mold in the kitchen cabinets. the couch was extremely dirty. the AC was filthy and smelled like mold. This hotel was the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. You could literally not breath well in this hotel and room.

Worst hotel I’ve ever been to

Nothing. it was not at all like the pictures or description and we aren’t picky travelers.

It was filthy. my grandson crawled on the carpet in our room and his hands and legs and the tops of his feet were black. We asked the front desk for a blanket for the pull out couch and they told us they didn’t have any. They gave me 2 sheets, one of which had to go under them because the sheet on the pullout bed was dirty. Staff told me that we had a king size bed so we didn’t get any bedding. I said that my daughter, my grandson, and I were not all sharing one bed and we needed bedding for the pullout we paid for. The king bed also didn’t have a blanket. Just a sheet and a coverlet of sorts, but it was better than nothing. We paid for a kitchenette. There was not one dish or pot or utensil in the cabinets. We aren’t picky people. We always think as long as a place is clean, we just need it for sleeping. My daughter has slept in a shed under mosquito netting in some of her travels. This was the worst place we have ever been to. The worst part was how filthy is was. When you’re child is black from being on indoor carpet, it’s an issue.

Mrs Desiree at the front desk was exceptionally amazing. I can guarantee, next time I head back to South Padre, I will stay no other place but there!!!

There was nothing to not like, all the staff was friendly. Even the guest playing cards in the lobby were very nice as well.

Extremely disappointed with how we were treated as returning guests

Variety of room sizes to choose from. Clean establishment and very friendly and helpful housekeeping staff. Manager(Bobby) and most receptionists very professional and friendly except for one in particular (Alicia). We've stayed several times in the last 3-4 months and had previously had a very good and pleasant experience prior to this stay. Not sure after this last stay if we will be returning

Receptionist (Alicia) was extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment of our check in. My family and I had requested a very specific room type and size in advance, and receptionist kept insisting on giving us a much smaller room; almost half the size and layout we requested. Everytime I began to try to explain what we had requested she wouldn't let me get three words out and raise her voice to speak over me. After I made several attempts to explain to her my husband made an attempt to talk to her and she turned her face away from him as to not speak to him. Then she told us our room wasn't going to be ready for another 30 min after she had initially said it was already ready. We finally spoke to the manager (Bobby) to resolve the issue, and he was very helpful since I had spoke to him the day prior to our stay and he already knew about our request. Upon checking in our room didn't have a stove as it was supposed to. My niece went down to ask her about it since I no longer wanted to deal with her unprofessionalism and she told my niece the room didn't come with a stove even though we've stayed several times before and always book the room with a kitchenette. Later that evening my husband also asked her about the stove and she told him there wasn't one and said " you'll just have to figure it out in the morning". The next morning I went down to ask about it myself and the owner happened to be sitting next to her at the counter and all of a sudden she was trying to be polite and she had a stove available after she said our room didn't come with one and also stated we didn't have one the entire day before because she didn't hear about us not having one until 11:30pm the night before which was a complete lie as my niece informed her less than an hour after we checked in around 4pm and then my husband later that evening.
