Perfect location

Liked the view from our room and the bar. Location was perfect.I

It would have been nice to go to the signature restaurant without having to get the Prix Fixe menu. If that was available, it was not obvious to me when checking the menu.

We always stay at Swissotel when we go to Osaka. It is so convenient for us.

Perfect location near train station and shops. Baggage delivery service to the airport is great for us shoppers with many bags.

In the past, we had option to cancel with no charge. This time, we were charged upon booking with no cancellation options.

Good for business, needs a refresh, but perfect location

The hotel is ideally located for travellers going to or coming from KIX Airport, as it’s directly connected to Namba Station where you can catch the train to the airport seamlessly. It’s a busy area with plenty of food options and Takashimaya for easy shopping access. The room itself is nothing extraordinary. It was basic albeit, clean and with the necessary ammenities. It’s definitely no 5-star property, more like a high 3-star, perhaps 4-star depending on the variables. I think it’s a perfect hotel for business travellers who can expense the cost and need quick and easy access to public transport.

The hallways smell of cigarette residue despite being “non-smoking.” You can tell that at one time or another this was not the case and people definitely smoked. Where there is carpet, there are trapped odors, always. The pillows are not firm rather, insanely hard and uncomfortable. These need to be changed immediately. Woke up with a stiff neck. The bed itself was fine, emperor sized but the pillows twin sized so the setup was awkward and poorly thought out. The shower had one of those 1/4 glass partitions which are so outdated and useless. Water always splashes out onto the floor so why not just put up a shower curtain or full sliding doors? The rooms could clearly use a general refresh, and hopefully this is in the pipeline for an otherwise perfectly located property with better potential.

One the best in osaka

Perfect location, roof top restaurant a WOW factor.

Fantastic location if you are flying in to Osaka. The train from the airport stops at Namba station and you can access the Hotel from the train station just before you go down to the subway train station year. This makes it the perfect spot to do many things from Osaka. The rooftop restaurant is fantastic and I absolutely LOVE the breakfast here. The coffee (ordered) is also excellent.

The check in process could have been better. We were a group and it just seemed to take ages. On the other hand the conceirge desk was amazing. They helped us out with our luggage transfer. They were so efficient and made the whole process very easy.

Fantastic location with access to shopping mall and train station

Located at Namba, nankai station. Easy access to other train lines. There is connected walkway to the shopping mall and Dontonburi is a stone throw away.

Excellent stay!

Wonderful location - followed the direction provided by the hotel - we accessed the hotel from shin osaka and took the metro. Ramps and escalators were available and it was smooth travelling with our bags. For our journey back to Kansai airport, we used the Nankai line - the station was directly below the hotel. Easy walk to departmental stores like Takashimaya with its supermarket and cafes. Room was comfortably sized. Breakfast was extensive.

Great location, excellent facilities and breakfast.

The facilities and staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with both western and asian choices.

While the location is great (just steps from the Namba Station, getting into the hotel from a taxi or car proved to be challenging for most drivers, even with aid of electronic map guides.

Not too pleasant.

So far so good.

I checked-in earlier than planned by few minutes before 3pm. The staff who was responsible for check-in was not doing her job well. Hence, my check-in was stuck for around half an hour. I believe the staff was not coordinating well regarding my case. That made me very upset.

L emplacement, au cœur de la gare de namba. La taille de la chambre et la vue magnifique sur osaka du 27 ème étage. Les restaurants et le bar.

Deception pour la salle de bain, en deçà du niveau de la chambre, pas organisée la japonaise avec seulement une baignoire ( pas d espace douche) Pas de proposition de pyjama. La piscine a une décoration datée qui ne la met pas en valeur.

Great place to stay when flying into Osaka

Large room, pleasant staff - helped arrange for car transfer to Kyoto

great location - accessible directly from train station or the street. SUPER excellent breakfasts! be sure to book breakfast with the room or separately AHEAD of time. lots of excellent choices and great service. we stayed in 4 cities in Japan & this was hands-down best breakfast. bathrooms large w/ great amenities.

we were 3 people & told room had 3 twin beds. in reality, one was a couch & mattress was the pits.
